Students at Oxford University have voted in favour of removing the statue of 19th century colonialist Sir Cecil Rhodes from Oriel College.

Wow! mandela was never a terrorist on any level he was fighting a racist government hell bent on separating whites from blacks and was wrongfully imprisoned for doing so, he will always be a hero.

@cardinal Scott I said on another thread that we are heading for a situation like the troubles in NI twof groups who hate each other and will never get along we might have periods for calm in between the flare ups but the days of a united people are over imo

Very sadly you might be right. it is like that in America. People tend to socialise with either republicans or democrats at a certain level. There is sometimes speculation about how they voted and they are judged for it. Hopefully like we have seen the planet recover from us we can recover from ourselves. Good manners have no politics, certainly away from internet forums. |
