Still 8000 new cases of Covid-19 a day, is that correct? If so, that is a very high figure after 10 weeks of lockdown, I'd have thought. If true, how Prof Van Tam cannot give details of the new cases eg area, ethnicity, age and sex? Surely, these info will be on the admission form of each new patient.
