What is the rule if you, for instance you are single mum in lockdown and you get the virus and have to go to hospital?

What happens to the kids? I remember a story in China where a disable child was just left when the parents were carted off. Child died.

having travelled 300 miles feeling like shoite , self isolating in a house ,looking after a kid ,they decided on the way up in the car they could look after, it must have been devastating for cummings not to able to give his mum a hug on her birthday as she was in touching distance, LaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaugh,

Lets all go to the beach this weekend & feck the rules ... if its good enough for the elite to flout the rules why not everybody else
There is no excuse for Cummings & his actions are the very type of behaviour to spread the virus ... get rid asap

Before answering the OP question, I shall consult the coronavirus advice.

1/ Are you a non tory? If so, please follow the government guidelines at all times. Stay alert!

2/ Are you a tory? If so, do not give a feck about anyone else, do what you want.

At pretty much the exact same time, government rules stated that the family of a 13-year old boy who died from the virus couldn't even attend his funeral.

If i were Handjob I would be gagging to do the briefing today. If when asked he says Cummings SHOULD resign he becomes a national hero. If Bozo the Clown sacks him he'll be PM by the end of next week.

Sovereignty. Where unelected officials are unaccountable to the laws they themselves set and half the country doff their caps to them and offer to shine their shoes.

What a pathetic country we've become.

What is the problem?

It is not like he built a model advising lockdown and then invited his married lover to travel across London to see him.

I never heard Cummings in the media advising the lockdown and telling people what to do.

Lockdown has cost so many lives and livelihoods and will continue to do so for years to come.

you know fine well its not an act of parliament.it was in the guidelines they gave out. it was brought up when penrick or whatever flouted the rules. if you want to condone it fair enough, its your right. my take on it is if everyone in the country did the same we would be in deep ****. when you tell your kids to do something for the right reason do you expect them to take the p1ss out of you?

YouGov on the case

It has been reported that in late March Dominic Cummings travelled from London to Durham to stay at a home on his parents' property while self-isolating with Coronavirus, in order to get help with childcare.

Do you think this did or did not break the lockdown rules?

Currently showing that 71% of the public believe that the rules were broken.

And do you think Dominic Cummings should or should not resign from his job as adviser to the Prime Minister?

Currently showing that 58% of the public believe that he should resign.
