I've read for weeks on here that she is doing a much better job than Boris. Are they looking a little stupid now?

Of course, the morning tv guest may be correct and the opinion poll may be wrong...
By:
But every day you said she was doing things better, apparently this is not correct. You must feel a bit stupid?
By:
You think I am stupid not to agree with a guest on a morning tv show?
By:
I just think you are stupid.
By:
Pompous pedantic and stupid to be more accurate.
By:
Maybe the numbers in Scotland are more transparent?
With estimates of up to almost double the true numbers being bandied about, you won't know what to believe. |
By:
Ruth Davidson spouted shyte that care home deaths in Scotland are double of Englands..utter shyte..Englands shame is hidden away
in the "unexplained deaths"..usual spinning tory bullplop. |

Of course the facts from the OP are totally correct. In addition to this, it was the SNPs responsibility to stockpile PPE and ventilators as the Scottish NHS is totally devolved, they didn't (despite running a similar simulation a few years ago that showed problems with PPE), but somehow that's totally ignored and the Tories get the fault for something that isn't their responsibiity as well. They got a total easy ride all through this. Of course large sections of the remoaner leftie media are openly hostile to the Tories, whereas Sturgeon is a left wing remoaner who hates the Tories - "one of them".
Imagine Boris and the Tories had done the outrageous coverup of the Nike Ground Zero that she seems to be getting away with. He'd have been toast. I see PoliticsPunter (the not an SNP supporter) SNP supporter is straight in on this defending his SNP. Call me old fashioned but I think how well people are performing things should be judged upon calm factual evidence relevant to what they have done, not some deflectionary "opinion poll" that is a poll of people ignorant of facts who are being influenced by a useless biased media openly hostile to the Tories. How much time I wonder does someone in England who gets their news from leftie luvvie BBC or C4 news hears Boris getting bashed vs ANY summary of the poor performance of lefftie luvve Sturgeon? 99.5% to 0.5? Maybe we could replace care home death performance evaluation with people's opinions of care home deaths, drug trials with the opinion of the best sounding drug name, and decide the next premier league with an opinion poll on who has the best team? |
By:
JC ..you like calm factual evidence?....like 177000 claimed..but only 61000 people tested..like swab test for nose and throat counted as two tests(from torygraph)..like care homes ring fenced since 12th March?..utter lies.
By:
How many tests in Scotland?
By:
biased media doris gets most stick of the right wing, nazi flag flying daily mail,
the rights latest luvie peter hitchens 3 weeks running in his column calls the bbc the governments poodle any chance of the right getting at least 1 duck in a row |
By:
Let me tell you 2000. If we were pro rata testing v England we should be testing in the at least double that.
Our education system is failing under the snp . Braveheart was not a documentary. |
By:
Sturgeon is almost untouchable, anyone who doesnt tow the line is automatically a Boris loving tory c*nt
said for weeks care homes up here a disaster, she does at least acknowledge failings but that aint enough Salmond is waiting in the shadows for all this to blow over then she wll be under severe scrutiny as the zombie still has unbelievable support up here even though he is ''damaged goods'' |
By:
A leader acknowledges failings?
By:
People in Scotland must be worried with the performance and thats when Scotland is still part of the UK image what it would be like if Scotland was on its own and had to find the finances with the SNP in charge
By:
flusher..as you are aware Honest figures are published here..not the fantasy pish yer tory overlords sell you.
By:
the supposedly tory super hero Davidson who actually has achieved very little in politics said on tv this morning, casually, nonchantly ,sturgeon is just following Johnson,s policy but 2 weeks later,WALOFS 2 weeks depending on where you are in this virus is 10,20,30,000 lives
doris uk government biggest decision/mistake in the hole shoiteshow was the timing of lockdown, and theres hr,s of press conferences from doris, cabinet minister,s all saying they didn't lockdown earlier because public would get bored and wouldn't put up with it, LOL 8 WEEKS LATER THEIR BEGGING FOR PEOPLE to go back to work, 2 weeks earlier could have save 20,30,000 lives |
By:
nec...50% death rate in care homes is more or less the norm in the civilised world Canada 80%.If you believe it is 20 odd % in England
you are a gullible nincompoop...of course the SNP could be doing better in education but at least they do not hide in fridges and carry out eugenic policies on us...where is the hide and seek champ?..getting pissed again?..where was he during the floods?..sunning his fat arse on a Carribean island for 2 weeks..at least wee Nicky puts her hours in! |
By:
Ooh N-EC touched a nerver there :) They don't like it when people start using facts and the bullshit of being "we're better just cos we're not English Tories" gets torn apart :)
By:
It's amazing SNP supporters think Sturgeon every single day being the person to be the only their spokesperson is a GOOD thing.
Others might think it's the sign of an egotist, someone leading a personality cult, someone using this to promote themselves, someone scared of the useless idiots she has below them in relevant responsibility areas being allowed to speak and either showing themselves to be morons (likely) or (very unlikely) showing themself to be a Scottish Sunak and someone who might be a better leader than her. It's all about her, and Sarah Smith is bang on. |
By:
JC..you have the government you deserve.
By:
I am not really concerned about the English figures being factual or not thats for others to decide, we are under the Scottish gov handling of this situation whether thats Care Homes or NHS Trusts
feel free to slaughter boris it doesnt change anything up here, remember they were singing from the same hymnsheet about the lockdown date back in March. Even with the Nike Conf. warning the health guy was actively encouraging people going to large events and he would have no problems going to one himself. Maybe hindsight is just for some though. |

Unfortunately we have national socialists.

By:
just a thought but krankie doing all media because the lady that was sharing duties resigned and you cant expect someone in job 2 mins to take briefings
By:
as why krankie was desperate to keep CMO in position
By:
Yes N-EC lets remember the legal ability to lock down was also in Sturgeon's hands and she could've done it earlier as well, instead she was allowing international rugby matches in Edinburgh after she knew about the (covered up and we still wouldn't know about if she had her way) Edinburgh Nike outbreak. No wonder it's touchy to bring THAT up.
But you know, cheltenham a week later was the Tories so that's BAD. |
By:
Important Jimmy loves briefings , she like to look important as much as possible ...

Well watching from Wales, it does seem that both the SNP in Scotland, and Labour in Wales, seem to be under less scrutiny than the Tories in Westminster.
I think in general its down to the old.....If it goes well it's all down to us.....if it goes wrong lets blame the UK Gov't. The electorate in Wales and Scotland aren't sophisticated enough to know who is really responsible for what. Independence is the only way to clear it up, sadly. Unless the Scots and Welsh suddenly wake up and understand things. Sadly, it is detrimental to the SNP, and Welsh Labour to push this. |
