Somebody has to ask this question?
By:
What would the current situation look like if there had been no lockdown ?
By:
The same as it is.
By:
Indeed, there has never been a lockdown.
By:
All depends how you wish to define lockdown.
There has certainly been significant mass changes in human behaviours. |
By:
There was literally no point in the lockdown, it should only have applied to those in high risk groups and those living with those in high risk groups imo.
Don't believe in conspiracies on this one however, quite simply because I can't see who stands to gain what. Nobody in high power or the so called illuminati can make money when nobody is working. |

Or at least not a least worse Tobermory
This country needs a future, people need to work. People have worked years building up their businesses only to see them wrecked by Lockdown. We will be carrying excess debt for years, this seriously effect the prospects for our young people. It is not worth it to help keep an Old Bugger like me alive(I am in the 69-79 age group.) I suggest we end Lockdown the 1st June. People can still wear masks and distance themselves if they choose. |

The food supply ran, the couriers have never worked so much, the utilities didnt fail, the phone networks didnt fail, the emergency services didnt fail and the msm never had so many reporters on the streets.
By:
Those in high power want as many people on minimum wage to be working, yet instead we've seen mass global unemployment and huge recessions heading our way down the line.

i can give you a name that could easily be placed next to 4 points above; a name that makes The Illuminati look like schoolkids |

By:
It did look like it was going to be horrific for a while
Wuhan looked apocalyptic at times and then reports from Italy were extremely grim However we now have a lot more data and it's obvious where the risk is |
By:
Government followed their advisors, and what was happening around the world and was then panicked into protecting the not fit for purpose NHS.
By:
I agree with Ibraham. With this data they should be allowing the reopening of virtually everything now !
By:
you make extremely salient points here imo bg

By:

By:
Agree with you wonders, something dark behind these phrases.
By:
The new normal is by far the worst.
By:
By:
just thought i'd ask |
By:
And no one can tell us what the new normal is ?
Like when you look up the term 'mass unemployment' they cant give numbers only scenarios where it can occur. |
By:
The damage that has been done by this is horrendous
It will take a while before people realise the magnitude |
By:
India is taking the largest brunt of this
Huge country and people stranded all over with no cash Trying to travel thousands of mile by foot to get home 25% unemployment and 90%+ live hand to mouth |
By:
and its only just started juce, this is act 1 scene 1
By:
And still we are furloughing people who should be back working.
By:
a lot of these people who are being furloughed won't have jobs at the end of it
By:
They are all at the beach having a good old jolly
Thousands and thousands Beggars belief |
By:
Frightening thinking what the unemployment numbers will be come say October.
By:
Companies will be destroyed but dont worry there will be an app for your new company start up and a slice of profits.

Biggest mistake in the history of humankind to imprison fit health youngster over this virus.
Going to cost us all for many years to come in money and our liberty. The only people who should have isolated are vulnerable and old. And many of these were not protected. As for who stands to gain? Simply follow the money. Who finances research that lead to the models/science that advised on lockdown? Who gains if people are living in fear and move to a digital world with digital currencies, limited small/medium business and travel only for the rich? Who gains if the in fear population asks to be injected with drugs? Who gains if people move to a universal income? |
