New cases reported each day since 20 April are as follows : 2,434 3,253 2,413 2,239 1,645 1,660 612 1,173 2,638 509 758 168
Unable to confirm how many tests have been performed on each day, nor whether they have adopted the Hancock methodology to testing, but on the face of it, the figures represent a remarkable drop off in newly identified cases.
They had recorded a daily average of 6,180 new cases in the first ten days of April, dropping to 1,690 for the last ten days of the month.
If i am right the 168 last figure is May 1st which is a holiday in France which might have something to do with it.
Italy,Spain and France numbers seem to be coming down as are a lot of other European countries, good news.

Some people believe every figure thrown at them without question . While these people form a majority of the population the powers that be will simply continue to invent statistics for the brainwashed to blindly follow . Thus perpetuating whatever narrative they wish to push .

You won't either, maybe you might see someone going into an ambulance as physical proof, that could be anything though. Enough pictures on the telly showing people having it,that's not acting.

I'm 87.434% sure it's a giant space octopus behind it all. I think it has flatulence and this is seeding the atmosphere with toxins that make their way to earth from precipitation.

Sorry, but I think I need to draw your attention to the real conspiracy.
This alleged "virus" broke at the start of this year. At the same time, one of the few people truly able to connect with different realms - Derek Acorah - supposedly "died". Now, has anyone actually seen his corpse? Of course you haven't, and you don't need me to tell you why.
Join the dots sheeple.

It's all very hush hush at this stage.THEY don't want you to know it exists. But for me it is the most feasible cause of all these worldwide deaths.
I wouldn't believe the size anyhow, as any numbers or dimensions given out on any matter by govts/media are just brainwashing the population.

I challenged the reported death of Derek Acorah and they took me to a morgue to view the corpse.
Now, to be fair, the body I witnessed looked a lot like Derek, but it wasn't the Derek I knew. They've got the real Derek cooped up in a secret laboratory somewhere, he could even be holed up in Whitehall.

Problem is until a vaccine no country can 'crack it' without trashing their economy unless every country 'cracks it'.
If France ends lockdown and reopens borders then the virus will come straight back in from other countries.
Only way to do it is to restrict travel and impose 14 day quarantines on all in coming people which is in practical and/or very costly.
We now know the best solution is to build up immunity in the population to stop a second peak and all that jazz.
Try to protect carehomes and vulnerable as best you can. The experience in Europe shows lockdown makes zero difference in terms of protecting carehomes.

Don't need a vaccine imo; just need a treatment that changes it from lethal to far less deadly. In the last couple of weeks the yanks have come up with something and now we're planning a plasma trial.
That's the big advantage of a lockdown. You buy yourself time for scientists to come up with stuff. The longer you hold off the fewer people will suffer from this disease. Got to be a balance obviously, but the idea of rushing back when the experts seem to be close to getting on top of it is frankly foolish.

Has to be a gradual return for those who are healthy.
Problem is I doubt it is legal to split it by region or age so have to be by activity.
Schools back for younger kids would be a good start.

IT, trying to correlate lockdown with the failure to adequately protect care homes is a nonsense, as well you know. The sad reality is that the prioritising of hospitals resulted in an under prioritisation of care homes.

Yep. All this talk of protecting the vulnerable is all well and good but talk about the how. Because, all we've seen is total failure. And beyond that, how do you determine who is vulnerable. Males are more susceptible, BAME moreso again. Then you move on to underlying issues such as obesity, high blood pressure etc. How do you determine the cut off of who is vulnerable or not? And if those criteria are accurate how do you operate businesses properly when you've got a good number of staff with underlying conditions who need to be segregated still?
Jesus, if only they'd locked down two weeks earlier instead of focusing on weekends away and Bunging a Bob for a Big Ben Bong.

The death rates have been around 0.15 in the 40-49 (8.5 mill) and 0.6 in the 50-59 age range (approx 9 mill)
It's still a big shield for a chunk of the population who are not in care homes.
With already approaching 30,000 deaths there's still nothing taking in all the evidence to suggest to me that without this lockdown these numbers wouldn't be far higher and that's even assuming the NHS didn't go under.

How is a good question.
Neil Ferguson said in reality you could not protect care homes because so many people come and go all the time.
A vulnerable person shielded at home has much more chance as long as they quarantine stuff coming in so the virus does not get you on surfaces.
As for who is vulnerable there is a clear list of people who have been contacted by the NHS - about 1.5m people. Just being a man or being BAME or being over 75 or being obese does not mean you are most vulnerable. There is a second higher risk group which is people who normally get a flu jab. About 14m people.

Agreed. If the goal was to stop hospitals being overwhelmed they should have thought beyond the supply side (clearing beds, making more beds) and thought more about how to reduce the demand. i.e. do more shielding quicker. I said elsewhere wife got NHS letter on April 10th. That is too late. Carehomes had potentially Covid infected people put into them. Carehomes had too many staff coming and going unchecked.

House Prices in Upton Park
Properties in Upton Park had an overall average price of £386,336 over the last year.
The majority of sales in Upton Park during the last year were flats, selling for an average price of £370,166. Terraced properties sold for an average of £419,973, with semi-detached properties fetching £450,000.
- the narrative is that east London is ‘deprived’. It’s a very expensive area where people choose to live despite the costs and the population density.

Much more encouraging figures from France. Hope they are accurate and representative, and that they continue on the downward trend. If their closure of the football season is anything to go by they appear to be taking a more cautious approach in general than we are.
