Think they realise they have royally screwed up and desperately looking for a way out to save face.

they are being advised by numpties who haven't got a scooby. But tbf, no one has. For at least 20 years the local quacks have opined "it's a virus/viral infection" for everything from a cough to a sore hole. Well now they've actually got a nasty one, they are clueless. Is it 2-3 years since they stopped giving out antibiotics willy nilly? And the reason? "Excessive use of antibiotics may allow the germs to become resistant to the antibiotic medicines" I wonder if the boffins who came up with that are members of SAGE?

By:
antibiotics have no effect on a virus, they kill bacteria

and?

Don't think they've done much wrong personally

Pretty much agree with what he said.. |

So do I, its only the people trying to political point score who dont. As you may notice from the fred starters on here.

People with any political allegiance ought to be aware for example that government ministers aren't in charge of buying PPE. Not that the NHS has run out of it anyway.

I would hope however that the more sensible right leaning people wouldn't succumb to msm propaganda or twatter merchants.

If this is a call for a big Boo thing at say 8.00 pm on a Saturday i will throw in a few boo's, good idea.

You could follow it up with a bit of an Akon rendition.

They couldn't even organise announcing the result of an internal election. So, yes they could, and would.
|
|
By:
Not Labour. The present Labour Party need a substantial period of time for reflection as they are not geared up for government akin to the Tories not geared up to manage the spread and high death rates of Covid-19.

one question. would mr starmer of shook hands with all and sundry in a hospital full of covid patients after being told by experts not to? i suppose the doris the buffoon is winning on people infected, a distance clear

By:
Barnier was like an anti Christ today, accusing the UK of dragging its feet in the EU negotiations,1 less boo there, the worst recession in hundreds of years and a spiralling death rate puts "sovereignty" into perspective, why not change that sheety brexit cabinet sooner, throw them all out on their ear,a nest of snakes who only had one purpose and it wasn't a pandemic.
|
|
By:
Problem is a lot of the perfectly sensible and capable Tories have been purged.
|
|
By:
No. Starmer would have hidden away in his bunker and come out when it was nearly all over and claimed he knew better than the medical and scientific advisers.

Political operating shouldn't be confused with competency. Boris won an 80 seat majority and his opposition had its worst result for decades. In my view his general election campaign was successful. A national emergency is obviously different, of course if Boris had locked himself down and eliminated all risk of catching the virus his opposition would have attacked him for hiding away. Now they attack him for meeting with covid patients and interacting with them. Boris is not winning the opinion of the majority of betfair chit chatters or twatter but he is with the general public, and I'm confident winch he prefers to be doing best with.

By:
He won an 80 seat majority that a monkey wearing a blue rosette would have won against a terrible opposition on a one issue election.

do the opposite of the majority opinion on social nedia on anything and you won't go far wrong

In my view Boris is far from perfect and if there's a lazy option (in normal times) he may well take it. But he's an excellent leader, and unparalleled as a political operator.
