who,d have thought repeating
get corona done wouldn't have worked, on the plus side gives him another 12 months of excuses for not getting Brexit done, he,ll have had more than enough by then and delivering or not delivering on 100,s of billion pounds worth of promises starting from a worse position than we were in,in 2010 was not in the doris PM playbook |

If only Johnson had hired the experts on this forum to help him deal with this crisis effectively.

in a crisis everyone struggles for competent ministers ,when your constrained by your ministers having to be dye in the wool brexiteers ,promoted for their loyalty you have no chance, 18 months ago tory,s could have stood jezza hunt, woolaston and dr Philip lee to name 3 at the lecterns,at least they could have blagged a modicum of competency

Good point.

I didnt suggest otherwise Angoose although opinions on this are clearly linked to how much individuals already hated Johnson and the Tories. Not a lot of impartial judgement but thats not unusual on here is it.

By:
No it isn't.

Buffoon or not he's our Prime Minister. Others might not see it that way, but he won the election fairly and squarely. The electorate gave him a thumping majority as the alternative was unthinkable to most.
If Boris dithers "chicken" Corbyn ignores or pretends it does not exist eg anti-Semitism. |

complacent herd immunity bragging about handshaking in hospitals ignoring his own social distancing rules continuing to go to work whilst suffering with the virus filling tubes begging non essential workers to continue to go to work, feel free to tell us of any pro steps from doris and handjob |
|
By:
not only that but the tories must be loose in italy and spain -they get everywhere starting up these viruses
|
|
By:
Italy give us 4 weeks warning, whilst the uk continued under the encouragerment of the uk government to party away epl football matches, chelt, millions on the tube, pubs full ,seaside full, parks full etc,etc
|
|
By:
That's true Moisok, the Italian doctors were in tears begging the UK,warning it was coming, Johnson was going along the herd immunity route at the time, shaking hands with inffected people and warned us all it will be grand if you wash your hands and sing happy birthday.
And well you know it Moisok. |

|
By:
No, it won't actually.
The BS that he is doing little while everyone else is doing lots, is just the sort of fake bullshit that circles in leftie circles on social media. |
|
By:
Okay, answer me this,an odd question but do your best.
All this week in the briefings they are showing the effects of the fall off in transport, the tube is on it,it is there to show that it is meant to be slowing rates of infection, This has been done a few days after basically shutting the tubes. Even on the 1st day of lockdown(24th March) the tubes were jammed. How come they never showed a single chart before then with a warning of how packed tubes were throw fuel on the fire in regards rates of infection. |
|
By:
I see lovely progressive socialist Sweden that has done virtually **** all so far may start to realise they might regret it.
And India and the US, two of the world's most populaced countries also still did very little long after other countries (such as the UK) were bringing in major measures. Just two more examples. So Charlie, stop posting childish hysterical point scoring left wing ****. This isn't SJW central "comment is Free", there are adults on here. |
|
By:
Anyone answer that one, they know it is good now to help slow it,so why was it left carry on,they aren't that stupid, they couldn't get a chart up quick enough to show the good points of stopping the tube, maybe hadn't any charts of the damage it was doing when jammers? yep, really?
|

By:
handjob reckons peak deaths might be easter sun,so we could get a 1000 a day by then a country who,s numbers were put down to big familys, lots of older people, lots of smokers, lots of people returning from Chinese new year etc ,ITALY give us 4 weeks warning begged us to lock down as soon as [possible if doris and co reach a daily number not reached by Italy should consider resigning their positions

|

By:
Agree it was going to happen in any case but no excuses for the extra amount of death he is going to create by dithereing,
As the tory apologists are going hissy fitish and no answer to the transport question,i'll try another one. Do you think the goverment could have asked the supermarket bosses to shut until a police/army presence was in place to have some form of social distancing during the near 2 weeks of "panic buying"? |
|
By:
why haven't the extreme measures practised now(ie stay indoors, and even social distasncing)
not put in place earlier when so much "damage"was being done? |
|
By:
iamajambo
Does anyone think that he cares? -- Intersting aside. Assuming Jambo is Scottish: The Scottish NHS is devolved, Scotland has it's own health minister and procures it's own things, as exemplified by yesterdays argument. It could have bought a huge stockpile of masks and so on and stored them. It could have had a pile of ventilators safely waiting such an emergency. It had done neither. It's struggling just as much as the English NHS to procure enough test kits and the above equipment, same as everyone else. Scotland has it's own legal system and police and has been passing it's own laws throughout all this, and enforcing them, it could have passed them earlier. Given the SNHS was apparently no more prepared than the English NHS, and they didn't go into mass lockdowns etc before the rest of the UK, and are finding the apparently easy (according to Armchair Experts) job of finding things it needs just as difficult in the world as it is. Does Sturgeon have blood on her hands? Reason I'm postulating the above is not actually to attack Sturgeon, before a prickly cultist gets annoyed. It's to put perspective on this one sided assault on Boris by prejudiced haters. That someone else with similar responsibilities within the UK has acted in pretty much the same manner and is experiencing the same difficulties. But to the Armchair Experts who know it all, apparently these issues are unique to "The Tories" due to their inherent evil. |

You should do a bit more of your username instead of attacking everyone who correctly points out what Doris should have done. The man is a fool. |

Glad to see you engaged with precisely zero of the points I made, but "posh man bad". You read it in the Guardian.
