Did you use the windscreen scraper to remove it.

Perth Tesco stores don't cater for the whole country Fattie and Sainsbury's are only delivering to the high risk folk and the elderly. Otherwise it's Click and Collect ONLY with them - at least in Stirling and Dundee.
Your advice is sound for those with family, friends and neighbours but some peeps don't have any of them out in the sticks. Having a SORNed motor doesn't help much either ![]() |

Be careful with the editing as Ocado sent me a message yesterday morning that I was no longer able to edit today's delivery (usually it can be done up to the evening before). Luckily I had already done my edits. Props to Ocado in this difficult time, I received everything apart from shampoo. And the usual loaf of squashed bread lol

I’m sure Perth Tesco wouldn’t
But I’m sure in general there all the same With 1000% more business not able to cope with demand |

Ocado virtual queue was 147,000 waiting the other day.

Tesco:
There are currently no available Tesco's home delivery slots for nearly another month. At the time of writing, there is no delivery available between March 26 and April 15. The supermarket has now suspended all new delivery sign-ups due to demand. In the future, they hope to set up delivery slots reserved for those in mandatory self-isolation who can't risk going outside for supplies. .https://www.express.co.uk/life-style/life/1260655/Tesco-delivery-when-Tesco-delivery-slots-released-out |

trilby,
KEEP CHECKING. They are rolled over every 24 hours HOWEVER, slots appear from time to time at random times, sometimes showing a available within eight days and sometimes even the following day. |
By:
^^^^^^^^
This applies to the one hour and the flexi slots. |
By:
Cheers Nick. I figured the 24 hour bit and was wondering what time the changeover is. I'll look back in at midnight.
By:
I went Tesco Wednesday 4 pm Was empty would say 70 % stock available , No queue
Should be age restriction on deliveries ... and vulnerable people |
By:
Sorry, it is midnight.
But I looked around 2pm and suddenly there were about six slots available for a April 5. Someone else in another part of the country noticed at around 4pm, some slots appeared for tomorrow. |

THE FREEZER FILLERS HAVE RAN OUT OF ROOM IMO

It's worth checking regularly in case people change their minds and cancel their delivery slot.
You'll also get regular online shoppers who will book slots in advance by sticking a loaf of bread in the basket, checking out, in advance of adding to the order at a later date. You're only charged for the order when your order is picked on the day. There will be many thousands of customers sat there with multiple secured delivery slots. The question is therefore, is this fair under present conditions with so many vulnerable and keyworkers fretting as to how they can get just one home delivery to help them out of a hole? |
By:
I went in at 6am Thursday, Case. Perth Extra, big store. No queues but it was busy. Got everything on my list but plenty empty shelves. Security guy said it was quietest since things kicked off.
Yea, figure there'll be cancelations. Bit of a lucky dip I suppose but it'll be interesting to see how fast the slots fill up @ midnight. |

WEBCAM OUTSIDE SHOWING HOW MANY ARE THERE
and Stock indicator attached to each Store |
By:
trilby,
I say midnight because that was when the date on the tabs for weeks 1,2 and 3 changed but there were no slots available when I checked on a couple of nights a few seconds after 00:00. Maybe they don't actually put up the slots until later? |

Had a couple of ram raids up here Ak , Sunderland area , Nicking motors Ram Raid then burning the Motor
Drink robbed from Sainsburys ............ Scum ![]() |

I think this ought to be reserved for the elderly and infirm only with a cap on items too to prevent exploitation and abuse. All other deliveries stopped as of now. There are other sources of food for them.
By:
As this is an Emergency Period a shoot-to-kill policy enacted, if necessary. I believe any unaccountable large amount of food products found stashed in unregistered premises or private dwellings ought to be confiscated and given to food banks or charity to distribute to the genuine needy.
By:
Not one iota of a chance of getting a delivery in next 3 weeks.
By:
Sainsbury's and Waitrose are delivering to elderly and vulnerable only.
I agree - quite right. |
By:
Yup. I agree with i_agree_with_nick. I think I heard somewhere home deliveries usually account for only 7% of supermarket sales, on average.
By:
trilby22 & i_agree_with_nick
are you both in the group that can't leave your house for supplies, ie shielding. It's not clear as you're both seemingly looking to get online delivery slots but also agree it should be elderly and vulnerable only. |
By:
Tesco are not as yet limiting deliveries to the elderly and vulnerable.
Sainsbury's and Waitrose are giving priority to those customers who they already had a record of as in these groups. They are waiting for the government to pass them the details of those who have registered as being a member of a vulnerable group but are not known as such to the supermarkets. I have registered on the government website. |
By:
I wouldn't be looking for a delivery slot unless it was necessary, Cider.
By:
So you're either elderly or vulnerable (or both) ?
By:
None of your (and the world's) business.
By:
It's hardy divulging specific personal information, but the answer can be inferred.
By:
Like I said, I wouldn't be looking for a delivery slot unless it was necessary.
By:
You could deem it necessary even if you weren't in one of the groups.
In general what I find hard to understand, people in the elderly group if they're over 70, many of will struggle navigating online ordering anyway (not all of course). |
