Anyone else self employed

I’m SE. Work outdoors so hope to be ok. However, have lost 20% of summer income due to cricket being off. Hope to replace it though.

i'm self employed with a small amount of savings.

i have been told i can apply for universal credit via the interweb so will on monday. i dont expect to get any help, but does anyone know how much uc pays if i get lucky?

I had a limited company working for a big company for over 12 years when they told me I had to go staff because of IR35. because of my I age I took it and was unhappy at the time (18 months ago) now I realise how lucky I was.

£80 a week, buy some groceries i suppose, have you had a go at claiming yet.

anyone not going through the online universal,credit/job seekers claim form before given the choice would rather re sit their maths A level exams, , havnt been bothering but my try job seekers see if I have enough NI  contribution in over last few years, do it wed got 3 days work sun,mon tues, feel a bit uneasy about going to be honest

jollys ... the limit is around 8k i think ... the 16k  is a  fake figure ,if u tried claiming with 15k in the bank and you entered the doll office, they would set the dogs on you

self employed(ish)  been in DWP/JOB CENTRE reccomended Universal Credit application as soon as possible as only counts from the day you apply no back dating. you are entitled to  a "top up" if yer income has fallen below a certain level and full level depending on yer circumstances if yer work has ceased altogether.

Its separate from the tax portal i just created an account that's enough for today, looks like they want to know everything from day you were born even the colour of the wifes knickers for £80 .

part time self employed gardener my only income  ,and although little contact with customers have had a fair few cancellations , do we have to wait till government calls for lockdown to apply for uc or whatever ?

IN other words if you have put aside a modest amount for a rainy day /house / boiler repairs and not wasted it on drugs,holidays  and high living   you're fooked

any chance of claiming back the 30 grand my pension pot has spaffed this month,

dosent it take 5 weeks to get it ?

5 weeks sounds about right in a normal day to day, probably double that my guess.

So they’ve changed it? Thought they would contact us. A mate got a text from hmrc advising he claim. I haven’t had one. Better get on it.

I got an email from my accountant this morning telling me to apply, they did say they were going to contact us originally.
