I had my first cigarette in September 2003 and a few more in 2004 but I didn't start regularly until January 2005. I stopped in late April 2018, and haven't had one since, so 2019 is the first smoke-free January-to-December year since 2002. Bang on half a lifetime ago. I'm sure you're all delighted to know that but I don't keep a diary so this forum will have to suffice.

I gave up on Jan 1st 2013, so it’s my 7th anniversary. 
Wd Lyb and other quitters. I gave up in May till a week before Christmas and will be quitting again this week. Love a smoke but it fks with yer health. DON'T START!
Playing sport is a good way to stay off them. Try smoking a cig wearing a pair of boxing gloves.
A deep lung full breath of cold fresh air is as good as a toke
