Looks like you've fallen at the first hurdle Charlie Chuck.
I've been perfectly civil here. I've insulted no one or called anyone any names. Yet the moment you're confronted with a shred of tangible evidence, you launch yourself into insults and name calling. And still do not provide anything of substance at all that might have a bearing on your argument. I'd better put you down as ''too thick to argue with.'' |

Piers Corbyn is always worth listening to.
|
|
By:
He is if you're a nutter:
Corbyn has stated his belief that the anthropogenic contribution to global warming is minimal with any increase in temperature due to increased solar activity.[40] This view is in contradiction with mainstream science.[27] In 2008 Corbyn stated that "CO2 has never driven, does not drive and never will drive weather or climate. Global warming is over and it never was anything to do with CO2. CO2 is still rising but the world is now cooling and will continue to do so."[41] In 2009 he attended the International Conference on Climate Change organised by the Heartland Institute.[42] |
|
By:
The Great Global Warming Swindle in 2007; a scientifically reviewed complaint to Ofcom noted that he was introduced as 'Dr Piers Corbyn, Climate Forecaster' despite not having a doctorate nor any qualification specifically in climate science or environmental science.[45] In 2015 BBC Radio 4 apologised for an "unfortunate lapse" of a documentary, presented by Daily Mail journalist Quentin Letts, which featured Corbyn in a critique of the Met Office's views on climate change while failing to mention the scientific consensus.[46]
|
|
By:
Researchers also stated of Corbyn's predictions that:[29]
"It is unusual for most of the detail to be completely correct, but equally it is rare for nearly everything to be wrong |

Piers Corbyn is the owner/operator of WeatherAction, a website that claims to accurately predict the weather in Britain & Ireland for much longer than the standard accuracy time frame of 5 days that most meteorologists agree on. Currently he makes predictions 30, 45, and 60 days in advance. In the past Corbyn claimed to be able to make predictions between 9 months and a year ahead.
He's a nutter. |

By:
Injera it's obviously your choice whether you believe him or not. If you do then it says something about you.
|
|
By:
Corbyn has an honours degree in physics at Imperial College London, and studied astrophysics in 1979 at Queen Mary College (no degree recorded).

No need to get personal. Debate the message not the messenger.
I spose you think Darwin was a qualified scientist?!!!! |
|
By:
He also frequently bets on the accuracy of the results, and he founded a company to profit off his predictions in 1997. It was later taken private in 1999 due to staggering losses of £70,000 in the first year, and £480,000 in the second.[1] Corbyn claimed that the failure was because of his company's small size compared to high overhead, which is bizarre after public statements that the business was doing great, "turning over" £250,000 compared to overhead costs of ~£70,000.

He also got a parking ticket in 1971....
How about looking at his arguments??? |

I thought the message was:
Injera • January 9, 2020 7:43 PM GMT Piers Corbyn is always worth listening to No he's not. |

By:
He's a self-centred egotist who knows nothing about the weather, climate change or anything related.

Fair enough if you want to believe him. Do you have some specific point in mind that would rock the general scientific community? Some earth shattering research or news that shows how stupid they are? Or maybe it's just some crackpot theory that has been dismissed by most critically thinking people. |
|

What I don't really understand is why you are continually looking at second rate, so called, scientists and dubious websites and loon tubes rather than looking at what the scientific community is saying. If I didn't believe something I'd want to examine all the evidence of what they were saying and then draw my own conclusions. If I disagreed with their findings then I'd say why not just rely on dubious sources. That does, however, take a lot of effort. |

5:10 ish in Drippins link Corbyn says "and this Autumn and Winter (that's 2019/20 by the way) there's going to be a lot of snow in Britain and Western Europe" and climate change science deniers (I think he meant climate change acceptors) will deny it's going to snow. He said he knows how the climate works and other's don't. Fantastic prediction apart from it was completely wrong. Again.

If you want to believe that climate change isn't happening and want confirmation it isn't then by all means listen to banal loonie tubes along with lfc's and moisok's opinions. You all make a fine coherent team. ^ Of course the climate is changing. It always has and always will. Egypt used to grow massive amounts of grain a few thousand years ago. Now those areas are desert. Greenland and Iceland had long periods where they were not frozen over in the recent past. This is how 'the scientists' in this field operate.. 1. Look at historic data. 2. Fit the data to a theory. e.g. global cooling, global warning, climate change etc. 3. Make a prediction. When the prediction fails they go back to (1). Too many 'scientists' have their life work, grants etc tied up in this field for the 'consensus' to change. Celebs and Royals who have carbon footprints of a small town tell us we must all do more to save the planet. |

Of course the climate is changing. It always has and always will. Most reasonable people understand what is meant by the term climate change for you I'll use Anthropomorphic Climate Change. Egypt used to grow massive amounts of grain a few thousand years ago. Now those areas are desert. Don't tell me it's got hotter. Greenland and Iceland had long periods where they were not frozen over in the recent past. The recent past being 2-3 million years ago. This is how 'the scientists' in this field operate.. 1. Look at historic data. 2. Fit the data to a theory. e.g. global cooling, global warning, climate change etc. 3. Make a prediction. When the prediction fails they go back to (1). A pretty good way to operate. That is the way science proceeds. Too many 'scientists' have their life work, grants etc tied up in this field for the 'consensus' to change. Nonsense. That is not how science operates. Celebs and Royals who have carbon footprints of a small town tell us we must all do more to save the planet. And the point of this is? |

Moisok, that will be a non-contest. Feminism has already bent over, spread her legs and taken it (no-lube) from Islam and trans-ism has raised the white flag, and ran away like a terrified poodle, when confronted by the supreme culture. |

Interesting stats Doridoru.
Obviously UK rather than whole planet but still pretty good. 109 years old data - top 11 all since 2002. Personally prefer the 5 year average graph which is often published as year by year there are pretty large variations. Basically the science community are worried about a 1 degree rise over next 50 years so "only"0.2 degrees a decade. Still I'll be dead before the worse effects happen & UK is rich enough &"cold" enough to survive a 1 degree rise. I do wonder what will happen to UK politics once those born since 1990 are the majority of UK voters - there does seem to be a different opinion on how serious the situation is depending on age. I suspect the majority of posters on this forum are over 40 (but that just a guess - I don't have any data) |
