after the exit poll predicted Labour's worst performance at the ballot box since the 1930s, the 34-year-old tweeted: 'Still holding out for a Labour majority'.  But as the party's Red Wall began to crumble and it became clear the party were doomed, she began unloading a spool of anti-Conservative tweets.

On Instagram this morning, she posted an image of a sad face emoji and wrote: 'Some say it was Brexit, some day it was Jeremy, personally, and I know no one wants to hear it, I think that racism and misogyny runs so so deep in this country and that Boris won because of his attitude towards those things and not in spite of them.'

The pop star, who has been singing Labour's praises throughout the campaign, earlier suggested Conservative supporters voted for 'kids to die with no healthcare.' She also implied their motives for swinging behind the Tories were to have 'less brown people' in the UK.

She deleted her account following a furious tweet from Piers Morgan, who wrote: 'I think I speak for Britain when I say if @lilyallen doesn't like it here, why doesn't she f*** off?'

After Allen's account vanished from Twitter today, her critics took to the platform to mock her, with one joking that she'd been 'unseated'. Rich Grahams wrote: 'What an achievement for Boris! Lily Allen has closed her Twitter account. Can I vote for you again?'

Old Sparky tweeted: 'Lily Allen deleted her Twitter. The day keeps on getting better.' Others speculated that her account may have been suspended.

She epitomises the tone deaf champagne (more live cava) socialist that keeps pushing more and more people to the Tories! Keep it up I sayGrin

She's right about the health care though

You've already had a tory MP on a couple hours after the vote saying everyone needs to pay into an insurance type scheme to get "their healthcare", that's everyone and if you don't pay it you don't get it simple as that

Took them a couple of hours to tell you as much in what they've got planned. Just wait until they hit their stride after the new year, once the queens speech is done and we go into the most apathetic time of the year after all the festivities.

People are celebrating now because of they they beat the "filthy left"

Its the disabled and the unemployed I feel sorry for

They don't have a voice and they don't have anyone to defend them Sad

They are "scroungers", such a nasty society this place has become, "strivers" ffs, striving to work 60 hour weeks and still not being able to afford childcare, and not being able to see your kids for being tired through work.

Nobody is free

You might hear the odd 'horror' case where a disabled person is treated badly and it ends up in the press.
On the whole I would say the UK takes great care of its citizens.
I live in a country where if you don't work and have nobody to look after you, you die.
NO dole and OAP pension is 10 quid per month!!
There are very few mental hospitals and crazies are left to wander the street or killed.
The infrastructure is poor including pavements and no wheelchair access anywhere.
No money for disabled whatsoever from the govt, if somebody doesn't care for you then you die
I reckon disabled/defected kids are killed at birth so as not to be a burden, you don't see many about!

There is no god given right for UK citizens to get the best care in the world, I think sometimes people have to realise they are very lucky to be born British

People are willing to die to just get into the country!

The thing is ,family used to supply childcare, not the government, when our children were born mum and dad would have looked after them , but my wife went part time and between myself and her we looked after our own children and our parents helped if needed.
There are far too many who won't take responsibility for their own lives and want led by the hand.

Lily has probably made a significant contribution to the exchequer in her short career. So has Grant. They are entitled to have a rant. Piers Morgan should shut up and be forever grateful that he isn`t the gimp of some muscle bound knuckle dragger in Strangeways.

I agree with that, Dame Izzard trudged around to win a few thousand votes from vacuous young things, but one picture in the press of her doing so will negate those votes, and then some.

I don`t think very many pay attention to her really. I`d say a lot of Remainers voted Tory because they`re fed up of the ongoing mess and want it put to bed. Corbyn sat on the fence. Simple direct message wins the day. Look at Trump.

We are currently witnessing a return to political extremism and arrogance that was a cause of WW1. We have Boris and Trump who are happy to drift to the far right because that`s where a significant body of voters now stand. Corbyn panders to the Loony Left but at least he was a Marxist from the outset. We have moved another generation away from WW2. We only have what we read and see on a screen to remind us of it all. The generation that actually experienced the horrors are now gone. Can everyone just take a step or two back towards the centre please? Maybe now that Boris has got his majority things might settle down and we can return to some normality. But then that`s what they said when Trump got elected.

Far right blaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Most of British people want a government that does not favour foreigners and ridiculous minorities over the majority. It's common sense and quite easy to grasp.

Good morning axious, I hope you start to feel better soon.
I am rather fragile today after a late night of drink and battling home on our wretched train service.

The left has pulled the fulcrum way towards itself over the past 20 years, to the point where, on the political right, the fall-away from the political centre is portrayed as being exceptionally close to that centre and almost unbelievably vertiginous from there.

You might step one place to the right by arguing for lower taxes. But take one step further and – woah – it’s all the way down to Nazism (ironic when confronted with the real anti-semitic racism of Labour).

Take a step leftwards, by contrast, and you can just keep going and going, running all the way to an end.......an end that never includes the Gulag.

Labours big problem is that they have an electoral system within their own party that allows the election of someone such as Corbyn, whose mantra does not reflect the the views of the slightly left of centre electorate that happily voted for Blair. They shot themselves in the foot. It`s the opposite on the other side of the fulcrum where Boris just goes where ever he has to to get a vote. If Labour continue as they have done under Corbyn, I suspect we`ll see the Lib-Dems hoover up a lot of the centre left, particularly if Boris fups up Brexit.

There`s strength in numbers, but unfortunately there seems to be a prevailing arrogance on the right that Britannia still rules the waves. Those days are gone. After Brexit, it will be interesting to see what the reaction will be when Putin starts sending warships through the Channel and up the Irish Sea. Don`t hold your breath that Trump is going to come to the rescue.

The older generation have it better than ever.
My father in law and his wife must have 4 holidays abroad ,they only get state pension!
They retired earlier, no uni fees (if they went) benefited from house price boom.
There are so many of them now.
When the state pension began  ,it was 21:1 ratio workers to retired , now it is closer to 2:1 .
THe NHS is crippled by thousands of old bed blockers with nowhere to go.

Who is to pay for this social care ?
The young ......already priced out of house ownership , who will be lucky if the state pension exists for them.
Middle age .....already lied to on retirement date , private pensions racing to the bottom.
Business ..... good luck in getting them to pay for anything .
