I used the central line everyday in the 70s when I worked in London, it was a sardine can back then!. If some pr@t jumped on a train then I doubt they would have made it home.

I see that MP who manhandled the XR woman is standing down.
I wonder how many who disapproved of that enjoyed the beatings here?

The planet is being destroyed, but hey, it's more important we're not late for work for one day.

People on this thread who delight in mindless violence and condone the thuggery seen yesterday morning, and think it's
' marvellous ' need to take a long hard look at themselves.

facts I have to take issue with you blaming working class citizens who are as much victims of our capitalist world as anyone else. These extremists got it wrong their stupidity to disrupt the working class at 7 am in the morning was a stupifying own gual at best

When you mess with people's ability to earn their money, you have to face consequences. This was already a very civil reaction. In other countries either the driver would have driven off with all the clowns attached. Or the public would have killed them.

It's still happening in some countries in South Asia where it is uncommon for trains travel along the tracks with "passengers" on the roof. On a serious note I'd be livid if I was one of those prevented from going to work or a job interview yesterday - I may even ask/sue the two protesters for recompense esp if I was badly financially compromised.

What would the apologists on this thread say if the demonstrators were people demanding that their winning democratic vote to leave the EU was carried out? Cheering imo.

People on this thread who loftily told us they would "Welcome Refugees" into their own home (because it was "the only moral and humanitarian thing to do" and that anyone who didn't was LOLOL "narrow"),  BUT then DIDN'T take in a single "Refugee" themselves need to take a long hard look at themselves, eh Ian M*hamm*d ?

Yes, they would be cheering. Quite understandable that they don't want to cheer for a new tax to be imposed on them.
