What were the 'hate crime' figures for 10 years ago ?
|
|
By:
This isn't funny reynard - it is very serious - people hating one another. I am more interested in them being uncovered and brought to court so we can see their hate filled faces. There are tens of thousands of them apparently and I am looking forward to the newspaper reports, their exposure and the faces so we can see the evidence. These crimes must not go unpunished. Obviously the police are prosecuting these cases as fast as they can go.

Only the other day someone gave me a dirty look for pipping them to the checkout at the supermarket.
The hate in their expression was there for all to see! Luckily for them I take these kinds of things in my stride. |

103,000 last year according to the mirror. Let no one forget that nasty attack on those two girls minding their own business on the bus one night. A cowardly attack and obviously homophobic.
I would really like to the break down of these figures to who is doing this and to whom? I cannot make out if these are reported or ACTUAL crimes. Are these incidents where people have rung up the police and said ' I have just suffered a hate crime' etc - Like one would report a disturbance or other types of report? I guess it must. So polis are duty bound to record it. Like the 'right wing' attack on poor Jones |

What's a hate crime?
|

January 2017 I committed what would easily be construed by many as a 'hate' crime at the Dental Hospital when barging a brown queue jumper out of the way whilst telling him 'there's a queue' in what's a first come first served system.
My immediate thoughts were that this person was taking the p!ss so I acted on impulse as I'm not racist and can treat all equally, others would have let the person jump the queue out of fear of upsetting a brown person and possibly having to take the exaggerated consequences. I firmly believe there's a sense of entitlement amongst many non whites in this country (NOT ALL). |

Well of course it bl00dy has!
When Thames Valley Police in Oxford - a town where Muslim gangs were allowed to rape underage white girls without fear of prosecution for years - is devoting resources to tracking down the awful people who have apparently broken the law by putting out stickers stating that “woman” means “adult human female” and that “women don’t have penises”, because these are now 'hate crimes' according to British jurisprudence, then the fact that said hate crimes have risen by 10% should be the least of our worries. I'd suggest the fact that the Police / lawmakers have now deemed the truth to be an offence, is of far greater concern I wonder what the burglary clear-up rate is in Oxford? |
|
By:
Do the figures differentiate between :
(a) Actual Hate Crime (e.g. rape of sexually underaged white girls because of their differing skin colour) (b) Pretendy Hate Crime (e.g. The Faked Homophobic Crime against the Z-List Singer by the Invisible Bus Driver) (c) the 'Let's Take Offence Because The 'Perpetrator' is Male/White/Heterosexual/Brexit Supporter And So We Can' Hate Crime (e.g. "We'll take the knife" to Civil Service numbers) |

What used to be classed as lighthearted humour, is now a hate crime if the humour is directed against certain groups.

I think Islam is a big danger to the western world and there are just males and females, will I be arrested?
|
|
By:
No. You cannot get yourself arrested just by hating. The other party has to feel offended.

No. You cannot get yourself arrested just by hating. The other party has to feel offended. I think you'll find that it is still a hate crime if a third party is offended ![]() |

I wonder how offended those young girls in rotherham/telford/newcastle must be?

How does one approach a seminar or even a lecture when one wants to question or debate these issues - particularly the standard (as it was in my day 70s ) question - 'the existence of God' Philosophy used to start off with that as the first essay/question. Meritocracy was the next.
so now what do you do when you question a book person's view in seminar for instance ho ho ho they would scatter afar to many safe spaces I bet |

saying could be construed as a hate crime - debating it even worse - that is the problem anyone faces entering any debate that is anywhere near the book I am sorry to say
apparently the spike is due to the polis changing the way REPORTS are recorded (polis statement) says it all really ie record anything and everything if it suits politically |

sorry that was a reply to wounded knee

Its a good question how you can approach a discussion on these issues without committing a hate crime. I don't know how you could do that to be honest.
Which brings me to the point I firmly believe in, it is not Islam that is the enemy, it is those using islam to keep you under suppression that are going to do you over. No one criticizes the people who came up with these laws. But those utilizing it to their benefit get criticized. Is the Law Commission controlled by muslims? |
|
By:
I just looked at the name of the members and they are typical british names. I don't think theres one muslim on the board.
Its a different story as to who campaigned for these laws. sajid Javed apparently was very vocal. What I found interesting was that the funding went to 9 churches and 22 mosques. That doens't look like a fair allocation to me. |
|
By:
So does the problem lie with the people using the law to their benefit or with those who wrote the law?
|
|
By:
The beauty of it is claiming it is a religion and establishing it as such. Mo sure knew his onions. Brilliant and now protected. Imagine the Labour party doing this - incredible scenes.
|
|
By:
You see immediately the problems - one can be accused of all sorts by just posting the above. THAT is the problem. Shutting down any debate and having the law on your side.
But you know my 20,000 quote. Not now, not next decade, but eventually. And done all above board and legally. |
|
By:
without a doubt - who is making the law - yes - 3 or 4 years ago the legal/ solicitor society moved to include some elements of sharia into proposals they wished to advance in law (very quickly withdrawn!!)
|
|
By:
You cannot get yourself arrested just by hating. The other party has to feel offended.
Not true. The other party need only PRETEND to be 'offended'. No-one in authority will actually be able to differentiate. |
|
By:
Let's see them all hauled in front of the beak and see their faces - I look forward to them all appearing in the press. and quite right too.
|
|
By:
My bad alun. Indeed they just have to pretend. The law says:
A Hate Crime is any criminal offence which is perceived, by the victim or any other person, to be motivated by a hostility or prejudice based on a person’s race/religion/gender/sexual orientation or perceived race/religion/gender/sexual orientation |
|
By:
All Human Beings HATE, it is part of our personality.
We cannot change this. CRIME is the problem, it is illegal, which protects us all If people hate too much I think we need to find ways for them to dissipate it without committing crimes. Sport is a good way, for MEN of course, it allows them to dissipate it. Sport for women is pointless, just my own opinion, other than a way to keep fit of course. |
|
By:
so is driving over policemen something else they appear to feature in
|
|
By:
Of course, but we must only condemn those that commit crime
If you just hate people because of their colour, race, religion or things they can't change...then there is no way out???? |
|
By:
I am not asking for us to excuse people committing crime because of their colour, race or religion.
That would be equally pointless. But we most only judge people on the crimes any of them commit, which is exactly the same for us. |
