well Harry - her ex is more her age; but there wasn't much chance of him becoming PM. Carrie knows more about the workings of Whitehall than 100 dumbo MPs

Discussing the Charlotte Edwardes column on Sky News with @ayeshahazarika just now, Alex Deane (a former adviser to David Cameron) in defence of the PM quoted Alan Clark: "How do I know my advances are unwanted until I’ve made them?". This is the attitude we're dealing with here.

alex dean along with toby young right wing nut jobs who think johnmson.s tory party has now given them a platform to spew out what thery really think of the less well off, women, left etc, etcm, one can only hope if they have daughters, grandaughters, to coin a phrase ,THEY GET THEIRS

What % of people defending said actions along lines of just what people did back then are middle aged + men?
I wonder why women are so reluctant to come out with sexual assault allegations when you see what they face when they do. |
|
By:
trying to take the moral high ground for a leg squeeze; btw sexual assault my arse! Not literally of course |
|
By:
btw; when is Juncker going to be arrested for sexually assaulting the hair of Pernilla Sjölin?
|
|
By:
I,m no prude but that alex dean needs sacking for his alan Clarke quote, disgustinmg, vile creature
|
|
By:
he would be one of many that should be off that Channel; it will be interesting to see how much uproar it causes compared to the lefty filth that is spouted daily without regress. And i am not excusing Deane

By:
we are all guilty of some kind of sexual assaultin the last 50 years if we take todays high moral grounds into account.even if we just kissed a girl in a school party without herPERMISSION under a miseltoe thats assault, god we used to go outwith our young age group and try our best to get a FEEL etc.{may i add with girls only those days}

fair play, i bring this subject up with women on many occassion and i would say99% agree that todays stance on men is absurd
|
|
By:
i wasn't always like that, & was probably the worst womaniser in my group of social misfits. I think that's what bothers me about allegations like this; just where do you draw the line when going back in time? Like you just said, a stolen kiss was seen as a rite of passage to some

By:
Unbelievable the coverage this is getting with the media all over the Tories at their conference.
Obvious why she has made the accusations at this time. |
|
By:
its the lying and his right wing hard cases making jokes about it,
cover up,s always worse than the original story |
|
By:
akabula, fair play, the young lass has been living with this for 20 years, cant sleep, affected her relationship with men, having nightmares, severe pshychological harm,

By:
She's had it hard elisjohn. Poor girl.
@1stTP This, if true, is hardly the crime of the century and to talk of a cover-up is quite laughable. |

Has anyone in the mainstream media asked the 'victim' of the alleged hand/thigh interface why she didn't report it she it happened, or on teh 4 occasions when Johnson stood for election as an MP, or when he twice stood for London Mayor, or the he stood to be Conservative Leader ?
Is it purely because of Brexit ? I'll be interested in the outcome of this incident. Around 25 years ago I accidentally touched a woman's leg at work (a woman I had no interest in btw, or vice-versa), and the mishap was quickly and mercifully laughed off by her at the time, although I was truly embarrassed. I daresay if Johnson is brought to trial for Historic Sex Crimes, can I also expect a dawn raid here ? |

By:
Just waiting for Dianne to register her complaint at being used now ! Getting ridiculous.

Apparently Charlotte Edwardes is the partner of Richard Peston who worked and is best friends with Roland Rudd the Main Remain campaigner & people's vote founder & funder. Charlotte works for George Osborne. All just a coincidence of course.

^^ Sorry, Robert Peston

About 50 years ago I worked in an office with about 10 other people.
Was a Mrs Bell who never missed a chance rub her t1ts into your back. Was nearly always in the stationery cupboard when shed lean over you to get something. There were 4 of us guys ranging from 16 to 20. Not one of us ever thought of complaining. ![]() |
