What is Boris going to do now...seek a deal with the EU?

We cannot now leave without a deal it has been passed into law

LFC

Never mind all your cracked pottedness these are the only options as I can see

By Monday the bill will have got royal ascent and therefore becomes law demanding whoever is responsible at the time to request an extension.
He could
1.Refuse....go on I double dare you ffs
2. Attempt to pass a bill through the house that negates the fixed term parliament.....how? Who is going to help him cos non of the opposition will.
3. Keep badgering the opposition with attempts to get 2/3rds to vote for an election......the opposition have him where they want him, why would they break rank now?
4. Get a deal....now you are having a laugh, even his fans don’t realistically think this will happen
5. Try and get an EU member to break rank and veto an extension.....then the EU will look responsible for ‘no deal’ default, why would they risk it when it’s a British brain f uck?
6. Resign
7. Send somebody else and pretend it isn’t him going back on his word.....(this is actually the most likely, but the electorate won’t buy that as a ruse, he’d have got his bluff called and everyone knows it) He said there would deffo be a deal, what odds did he offer again?
8. Recall May’s deal.....somebody tried that the other day, it got trounced.
9. Vote no confidence in themselves.....ahhahahahahaha is only thing I’m going to say on that, hang no I’ll add....ahahahahahahahah

That pony you spat out about government not being controlled by parliament is wrong. Parliament hold the cards now the government can barely break wind

You are incorrect in regard to your point 8.

May’s deal could well be brought back for another try, highly debatable if it would pass, but an option and the Benn Bill amendment makes provision for just that.

Matthew d'Ancona, editor of the slow-news outlet Tortoise, told Newsnight Mr Johnson had had a "disastrous week in political showbusiness".

"One minute you're Stormzy and the next minute you wake up and you're Michael Barrymore.  Laugh

"That's what's happened. He was sold to us as this guy who is a winner, he could do all the things that Theresa May hadn't been able to do, and he could unite the party and the country by the sheer bringing of confidence and charisma.

"He's like a person pressing the button on the app on his phone in fury, saying why is it not happening the way that he wants it to.

"The reason is that Brexit is fabulously difficult to achieve. We are untangling 40 years of legal, constitutional and commercial arrangements."

Laugh charlie

It does seem strange that the Tories elected Boris Johnson as leader

and then oppose everything he tries to do

Unless that was the reason????

I see on the red button today..A no-deal Brexit would be a failure

Boris Johnson says, in Dublin to speak to Irish PM LeoV aradkar

A bit of a change from last week, when he wanted one???????????

Trying to persuade Irish PM to help him out of the mess he is in I should think
