Not CD. Music cassette tapes.
Specials? How would I know? |
By:
You know, particularly good 'uns or old favs.
By:
I thought they were all good when I bought them.
No player to check quality on. Do charity shops take them? |
By:
They will if you leave 'em by their front door in a binliner overnight

By:
OR, you could buy a cassette player from a charity shop

Have 2 cars my older one is a Mk2 Golf with a cassette player in it, was going to change it for a more modern CD/Radio player but apparently original is best for when i come to flog it, so still have a fair few tapes which i only get to play in that car.

If you have any on that list i'd feel sorry for you, most only on there because of the foul language in titles i'd imagine, with the exception of Kylie and Madonna that is!
By:
Yes. An interesting list.
Do have a Madonna one though. |

Have you considered freecycle, someone local to you may have a use for them.
By:
Before you bin them Racing (Or give them to Trilby or Stewarts
) search them on Ebay and it will give you an idea what they are worth. If none valuable, throw in a Walkman (If you have one) and sell the lot as a job lot. Seen similar Auctions reaching over £50. Depending on the Tapes of course. |

I heard that the audio cassette was popular again . I cant think why .
By:
I remember when they first came out - I thought technology couldn't go any further.

For the real experience you have to go back to "8 Track"....
There was something special about "Double Tracking" which, like the fading on "Radio Caroline", wouldn't be the same without! |
By:
Remember when people used to spend hours and hours making 'Mixed Tapes'??

Nostalgia isn’t what it used to be.

You can play your cassette tapes on your computer with a USB link, or even download them to your hard disc.

Haven't read the thread, to be honest, but if you have the time I'd suggest putting the titles on eBay to see what they're worth. You could be surprised.
