On a recent train trip up through mostly SE London iwas staggered how many blocks of flats have shot up,(not been for a good few years) bikes out on balconies,washing etc,it is a poor long term solution to the growing capital imo, i was quite saddened by it.

Best to be somewhere in between, eg Gloucestershire with it's renowned cheese chasing scene.

for most people 1 minute in their lifetime on a tube would be 1 minute to many 2/3 hrs a day on one on route to a living wage job would bring suicidal thoughts in to play, as for museums if your lucky to have a spare day once you've done it once you,ve done it, but most people after a week at work wont be planning expensive,crowded commute across London to pay for over priced drinks,food etc and a museum visit, on Friday,s millions are getting out of London not heading into it

The museums are first class in London, so much to see and do. It towers above all the provincial northern towns in every area. Ok, there`s been a few knife related incidents and the drivers can be aggressive and rude but just tell them to **** off.
