Even premier league footballers from the London clubs are having to be guarded
They’ll probably end up commuting in from the country eventually

Hasn't Londons landscape changed so much? On a recent train trip up through mostly SE London iwas staggered how many blocks of flats have shot up,(not been for a good few years) bikes out on balconies, washing etc,it is a poor long term solution to the growing capital imo, i was quite saddened by it.

That is 100% true.

Tha London drug gang filth have already spread their tentacles further and wider outside of London in then last few years. The police and media have a ridiculous name for it : "County Lines" , instead of what they should be calling it. "Serious Organised Illegal Drug Crime".

The grooming gang filth are of course present in every 'culturally enriched" town that comes into your head.

"I’d have a word with that mayor – he seems to not be doing a good job with all these kids getting knifed."

Boris reduced Knife crime as Mayor, but lets ignore that.

He thinks London's dangerous these days .there used to be people who dropped bombs on the place years ago .you wasn't allowed to open your curtains when it was dark .in case the bombers could see where you were

not sure why he chose to live where he lived so centrally, because the further in London you go, the more housing estates there are - which means no matter which affluent street you live in you are guaranteed to be probably no more than 10 minutes from the nearest estate and in London they usually encompass  gangs of some sort, kids today even being killed over being dissed in amateur youtube videos where they compete for views or a comment of a facebook pageCry Would make more sense for him to live on the outskirts of London and then communte in to work/studios, it's nice to live on a an very wealthy street in Little Venice but if you're sandwiched in between two Post codes (NW8 + W9) in a city where teens are killed in postcode wars (I know) it's probably best not to even if it is more convenient for work, especially if you have the money to move anywhere you want.

He is publicly saying it but most people have just been selling up and moving on for years. Some of the stories I have heard off work colleagues about how the area of London they lived in changed no wonder they left the place

I afraid with the current flawed ideas of how people who commit crime should be treated continue, our future looks bleak.

Liberalism in schools, the law, prisons, sentencing, PC, mass immigration and the problems with multiculturalism have all added to the situation we now see.

It will take a very harsh government implementing extreme measures to put this mess right.

I suggest if you're able, to do the same as Gallagher and move away.

The state in which London finds itself has been created right under our noses.

We've allowed it to happen, and we endorse the situation every time we vote for one of the three main parties.
It might not say as much in any of their manifestos, but the results are there for all to see.

London is still a great city to live in. It might not, however, be a great place to bring up children. It is one of the safer cities in the world. The stabbings at the moment are restricted to certain areas and demographics. I'd far rather be in London than some of these Northern Monkey Towns!

besides having a job and a home ,the 2nd of which is like winning the lottery in London for young people, after working excessive hours, excessive commutes, catching a snack in chains available in every uk town, most Londoners could be living in any uk town and see very little or nothing of any good things London may or may not have to offer,
they only see any of it during holiday periods or if their lucky enough to be off at weekends ,where they joined by day, weekend, holiday trippers from the rest of the country
people confuse the CITY,TOURIST TRAPS,with living in London,99% of Londoners could be living in a semi in skemmersdale for all the difference it makes when you,ve removed commuting, working, sleeping hours

How many pubs are there in Skelmersdale? How many buses or bus routes or trains or tubes? How many restaurants that don't serve mushy peas? How many theatres, cinema's, museums, wine bar's, ferries, Choice of different World class cuisine? The greatest sporting events on the planet? Choice of football and rugby teams, cricket teams? Street markets, farmers markets, opera and ballet? How many airports or International Rail Termini?

You can stick your Skelmersdale!

for most people 1 minute in their lifetime on a tube would be 1 minute to many 2/3 hrs a day on one on route to a living wage job would bring suicidal thoughts in to play, as for museums if your lucky to have a spare day once you've done it once you,ve done it, but most people after a week at work wont be planning expensive, crowded commute across London to pay for over priced drinks, food etc and a museum visit, on Friday,s millions are getting out of London not heading into it

The museums are first class in London, so much to see and do. It towers above all the provincial northern towns in every area. Ok, there`s been a few knife related incidents and the drivers can be aggressive and rude but just tell them to **** off.
