One can only chuckle when a fellow, who appears to be sharp as a marble, has the brazen chutzpah to question Jacob Rees Mogg’s intelligence. :)

By:
He speaks calmly but that means nothing at all
By:
Could he give Boris lessons in calm speaking?
By:
Thatcher was one of the greatest leaders in world history anxious.
Isn't it great that whilst Boris is trying to respect the democratic vote of the country the likes of the SNP and SF are cosying up to and siding with the EU in every respect. I'd include Labour but I'm still not sure what their position is. |
By:
Really in what way was she great , she done more damage to this country than Hitler did
By:
Revered the world over anxious especially in America.
By:
No the question was what did she do this country that was so great ?
By:
Forget America and Ronnie and all that drivel
By:
She stood up to the Argentinians when they invaded the Falklands.
She also stood up to the ira and the communists running (and ruining) our Unions. She gave people the right to purchase their homes. She helped small start-up companies. Just some of her achievements anxious. |
By:
She also destroyed economic and social fabric of this country , she and her ilk created the underclass , the richest got richer and the poorest got poor , equality of opportunity was denied unless you had the financial means , her dream of a property owning country is a total failure
By:
She started the end of the nhs , she sold everything off to private cowboy firms , wasted all the north sea oil money on throwing people on the dole remember nearly 4 milion in the 80s
By:
Sold off thr railways , gas , electric , telecommunications , water etc to Spiv Companies and chancers

Jesus wept the malvinas and the irish conflict
By:
The Unions destroyed the coal mining industry by constantly taking their members out on strike and by refusing to adopt more modern methods.
Coal became too expensive to mine. Before you say it the Unions were aided and abetted albeit unwittingly by poor management. |
By:
The Malvinas. I love it when people like you do that. Does it make you feel like a revolutionary or something?
![]() |
By:
I do not deny poor management and the Unions are not completely blameless , but come on her she wanted to to defeat the Miners to destroy the Unions in order for her free market nutters to take over
By:
That is the correct term i think
By:
Remember in 1982 there were nearly 4 milion on the dole and no money we were told , suddenly in a few weeks we had a fleets of ships sailing towards the south Atlantic with nuclear missiles on board
By:

By:
Wouldn't think so anxious. The Malvinas was the name given to the islands by a French explorer. Other explorers gave it different names.
BTW the Falklands were never under the control of Argentina and were uninhabited when the UK settlers first arrived. |
By:
Akabula this was as a small island island 7 thousand miles away for Britain, the only reason we went their was because of financial gain
By:
What financial gain?
By:
penguins
By:
There were some feral sheep on the islands maybe their fleeces were valuable.
Who knows but I doubt if anxious will be able to give us an answer. |
By:
I suspect he will furnish an answer, Mr A. Alas, however, experience seems to suggest it may not be an erudite one.
By:
anx googling erudite as we speak
