Looking more and more like David Mellor btw.
The rules are the rules and cannot under any circumstances be broken except when it suits the EU. That seems fair. |
By:
Just googled David Mellor. Damn, you’re right Aka! A dead ringer!
By:
did you see toe boy Mellor the other day Mr Bula? He had hair like Robinson Crusoe
By:
You gotta love JRMs style here.
Was good to see GV so uncomfortable and close to losing it completely whilst trying to avoid directly answering JRMs questions. |
By:
Jacob is much better looking & hasn't got a 12 burger face
By:
No I didn't Bap. Was he on tv or in the media?
By:
And LMAO at the idiots who claimed the ERG don’t do much research Europe. Anyone honest watching that video is left in no doubt who has done his homework.
JRM is superb. Looking forward to him filling in for Boris at PMQ. |
By:
he was on Fatboys Sky show, had a pyjama top on to go with the hair
By:
will be funny Jezza trying to debate with him
By:
JRM is head and shoulders above everyone else in parliament in a debate. Michael Gove is probably a distant second best.
By:
Can you imagine JRM arguing against somebody like Abbott or Thornberry?
![]() ![]() ![]() |
By:
Steve Baker could muller Jezza with one word
By:
Yep, Baker very good too. Farage also excellent when speaking in Brussels or on telly.
By:
I wonder if Verhofstadt has been asked to debate against JRM in any other arena since that schooling.
If yes I bet he said “you can FRO” ![]() ![]() ![]() |
By:
Verhofstadt looks more like Mellor than Jacob

Verhofstadt looks more like Mellor than Jacob
I was Verhofstade I was talking about ![]() Google Images of David Mellor. The serious face on on the far right. Take away the glasses and you have GV. |
By:
so i see |
By:
He does indeed look like Mellor, Mr A. :)
I wonder if he might be persuaded to don a Chelsea shirt at his next meeting? |
By:
Lampard sucking his toes would be a sight to behold

Dimbleby to Mogg on Question Time: "Ah, but it would be a temporary recession."
Mogg's reply: "All recessions are temporary." Dimbleby to Mogg on Question Time (attempting a cheap jibe about Mogg's privileged upbringing): "Eton, was it?" Mogg's reply: "That's right. I went to school there with your son." |
By:
I remember that well PM and also the laughter he got.
Never tangle with the Mogg. |
By:
He was in good form at the Mile End Institutes Q&A session with him a few years back.
I remember one question in particular and it shows how made up stuff becomes fact. He was asked a question about his sons time at Oxford, where according to the questioner he was about to graduate, and whether like him he had to take out a loan and how was he going to pay it off. His response was quality. "Whilst I think all my children are geniuses I doubt if my oldest son who is 10 is ready to graduate from Oxford" But rather that hone in on the stupidity of the question he immediately went on to speak about Uni costs in general. |
By:
i have never seen anyone more excited at getting the call to No10 than Moggy
By:
It's a pity you boys have got the dangerous leftie Johnson as PM instead of one of your heroes.
By:
Verhofstadt always comes across as if he really dislikes the UK.
By:
Brilliant and this is from months ago, traitor May did nothing to fight for Brexit, while these dickheads walked all over us
By:
JRM will be the greatest PM we never had, as someone said earlier, i'd pay good money to watch him and Flabbot at PMQ.
SHE PROBABLY WOULDN'T EVEN UNDERSTAND HIM |
By:
Kept the caps on there, i promise i wasn't shouting.

By:
In his role as Leader of the House, Jacob Rees Mogg is entitled to deputise for Boris at PMQs so you might get your wish, Mr D. :)
By:
can't wait
By:
Jezza would have had a similar education, anxious if he wasn't so thick. He had a privileged start to life but unlike Moggy, he didn't carry it through
By:
well he should start using them, my friend
By:
ha ha rees fogg i must admit he is like a throwback to a bygone ear , wasnt his dad william who wrote for the torygraph and express in the 80s and 90s , aone of the last of the Empire and the mad dogs and Englishmen

i've backed Kasatkina in the tennis coming up
By:
They just don't win at Edgbaston, but agree, I fear the worst a bit for this series. Root aside, must be the worst top order ever for an ashes.
By:
HGS good point England are strong at Birmingham , just dont like our batting to fragile
