When I said he was acquitted you said we cant really say he is innocent we would only be guessing and for the hundredth time it was chucked out because they had the cctv pictures which proved she was lying.I think you are deliberately being dense.

Ive only talked about the trial he was acquitted for.You know that.I will try once more.If you was a juror on that case and saw leslie act the perfect gentleman in the CCTV footage would you have still found him guilty....its a simple yes or no answer.

YOu say that my support for the leslie is worrying which strongly suggests I am wrong or have some motive for supporting who in your opinion is a sexual predator.In other words giving support to a rapist.The fact is leslie as never been convicted.What happened to innocent until proven guilty which I strongly believe in but your preferred option is he looks a wrong un no smoke with out fire therefore he is guilty.I just pointed out the case against him was dropped because the evidence pointed only one way.Now you may be right and leslie may be as you say a wrong un but you need proof not hear say.

Not correct PP. The verdict was Not Proven which is a verdict peculiar to Scottish Law. He claimed outside the court 'without a shadow of doubt' but that is at odds with the verdict. Incorrect to say the tv evidence proved his innocence as it in itself was inconclusive. 2 witnesses, a friend of the accuser and a dfriend of Leslie, gave conflicting evidence. |
