How did they weigh the sun is another thing? its 333,000 times heavier than the Earth?

they've never supposedly been past the moon, how do they know what its made off?, any probe would be burned to dust in 1000th of a second if it got anywhere near it?

They didn't send up some scales did they? like really big scales and weigh us both?

Did you know that NASA created this visualization with the help of data obtained from a satellite that orbited from pole to pole with the earth rotating beneath it?

well that's what they tell us, but why don't they take any real photos or videos of the whole of the earth? Should be thousands. Seem very suspicious.

Why would you believe its a visualization when the visualization was formed using a round earth?

Because Nasas Mr. Blue Marble - Robert Simmon has explained how he does it by pasteing the satellite photos strips around a photoshop ball.

So now you know the images of the earth that you see in Google search are not photos. You have learned something today. Good night.

The satellite photos prove the earth is round, from the very source you game me.

The fact that Columbus didn't find China proves otherwise.

You claim it was a NASA visualization. NASA made that visualization using imagery taken from a round earth. If you believe the earth is flat then why do you believe the visualization story?

By:

but how do you know it was taken from a round earth? I don't know what shape the earth is I've never been in space to look at it but you are claiming it is round because of the satellite photos. How do you know satellites even exist? Those photos could have been taken by high altitude aircraft.
Must go to bed now.

I know it from the link you yourself gave me.
You can't use a part of the story that suits you and ignore a part of the story that doesn't suit you.
If one says its an image of a round earth you say no its a visualization by nasa but you conveniently ignore the fact that nasa couldn't have made that visualization if the earth wasn't round.
By:

Basically you are claiming earth isn't round and the evidence you provide wouldln't have existed if the earth wasn't round.
Understand the problem here?

You say NASA is trying to hide something by not providing any real photo of the earth. I assume from that that you have an issue with the shape of the earth?
By:

No I said are Nasa  trying to hide something by not providing any real photo of the earth. That's  what I want to know - why don't they take any photos?

Perhaps they cannot get above a certain altitude. Watch any space rocket launch, within seconds the rocket is going horizontal. They're supposed to go up into space.

What was NASA's budget again? A horrific amount of tax payers' blood, sweat, tears and time and effort to make someone very wealthy with a massive con trick.

Never A Straight Answer

Exactly drink, maybe Nasa knew that they couldn't get a rocket to go out of earth's lower orbit in the 50's but knew that convincing the public to think otherwise would enable them to hop on board the gravy train for life.
Those space rocket launches do look like they start to arch back round, who's to say they don't all end up in the middle of an ocean somewhere all ready to be secretly whisked off back to Nasa H.Q.

NASA's budget for 2019 is $21.5 billion or to put it another way 21,000 million. I wonder what all the taxpayers will get for their hard earned money this year? Maybe some nice CGI pictures of other planets with a rover car on or perhaps some exciting news about a new sun that's been discovered 500 light years away, just any old cr@p  to feed the public's space addiction and keep them happy for another year.
Nevermind if the National debt of the United States is over  $22,000,000,000,000.

detraveller you'd make a good muslim scholar based on my research from Islamic attitudes towards science and your participation in these threads:

"The Qur'an draws attention to the danger of conjecturing without evidence (And follow not that of which you have not the (certain) knowledge of... 17:36) and in several different verses asks Muslims to require proofs (Say: Bring your proof if you are truthful 2:111), both in matters of theological belief and in natural science."

'Muslims to require proofs (Say: Bring your proof if you are truthful 2:111)'

detraveller you are always asking for proofs of truths on these threads in fact you are quite insistent when terry is involved.

No I'd never stoop so low as to call anyone that but you would make a good Islamic scholar with your persistence on such matters.

I only insist like an idiot when someone says it says so in a particular book but when I ask for the page number they dont know. Or when they claim a person said so and so but when I ask when they said that they don't know. Most of the time its terry making such claims.

Life can be frustrating at times I've still never had it explained how Jesus fed 5000 people with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes, some bibles list this on page 74 another I had was on page 846 and neither explained properly how this was done yet millions still believe.
