I don't think so but you might be right, a semantic argument I suppose. Shame to see yet another thread festooned with the usual right wing fanaticsCry

Swinson is the sort that would call Brexit voters stupid racists, then blame them for creating anger and division in society Laugh

"Racism covers religion too Richie "
No it doesn't or shouldn't, that's something the left / PC types use to muddy things.

And there we go "right wing fanatics" ... ffs. Nobody can say anything sensible now without being called a fascist, it's pathetic.

I suppose you consider anyone with a different view to you as a fanatic Richie, is that right?

Call it religious hatred then.  Whether it is or isn't racism to you it is bundled together as one in the media.  Religious hatred is much worse because in history it leads to genocides such as the Jewish Holocast and the massacre of Christians in Armenia and East Timor by Islamists.  And these genocides are rooted in doctrines that forbid daughters from marrying outside the religion

I'd love to know richie's definition of 'far right'
I reckon it's as simple as "Anyone who holds an opinion that differs from my own" Crazy

"Islamophobia is a form of racism – like antisemitism it’s time it got its own definition"

The Independent. Poor man's Guardian-Lite that was so rubbish it went pretty much bust and is now online only, "nuff said"!

Posting on cricket forum ffsDevil

CLYDEBANK29, I'm not going to argue over that.

The rest of you (akabula, Reynard, Just Checking, et. al.) are dyed-in-the-wool right wing extremists. Nothing more, nothing less.

Definition of 'extremist' required Confused
By:
Richie_Burnett
When: 31 May 19 00:42
My best guess, Reynard, is that an extremist might espouse his fascist vitriol on a betting forum on a daily basis.

What I mean by that is that you, and others, are committed to the cause in a way that others are not.

Clearly Richies definition of 'facist' differs considerably from the one in the Oxford Dictionary Confused
By:

I'm disappointed. I wanted it in cockney rhyming slang.

I'm defining the individual, not the word, Reynard.

Can you expand on your 00:45 post please?

What passes as 'fascist vitriol' in your book Richie?
One example from any thread today would suffice

You're defining me as a "far right extremist" . I am not 'far right' nor am I 'extremist' .
People in glass houses etc. etc. etc. Grin
By:

Wasn't having a pop until you labelled me and a few others as right wing extremists followed up by fascists.
Surely you're not surprised that triggered a response?

I suggest you retract your highly inflammatory 00:26 post , immediately !

By:

I'm not crying. My responses have been civil and measured.
Still waiting on an example though.

It's always about Corbyn, BBC, Islam with you lot.

Like all day, every day. That's extreme imo.

I'd much rather talk poker or betting cos maybe we could help each other.

You could say I was a left wing extremist and I wouldn't cry.

People have opinions , often those opinions differ , but that does not make a differing opinion 'extreme' . It just makes it different .
There are whole swathes of middle ground and 99% of opinions fall somewhere therein .
By:
akabula
When: 31 May 19 01:14
So calling out Corbyn for his anti UK stance amongst other things, the BBC for its bias and Islam for its preaching of hatred makes us right wing extremists.
Could name a few Labour MPs who've done the same without attracting that tag.
By:
Richie_Burnett
When: 31 May 19 01:18
The time and effort is the aggravating factor, Reynard.

There's a few posters that are all over the BBC/Islam/Corbyn threads like a cheap suit.

I'm not saying that you're not entitled to an opinion, but rather you blindly follow a cause/ideology and make assumptions that are not grounded in reality.

A good, recent example would be lux misusing statistics to further his right wing agenda a few days ago.

Easier to throw out the old 'nazi' 'facist' 'far right' label rather than debate a topic which you have little or no knowledge of .

If Labour got rid of Corbyn, McDonnell and Abbott from their front benched I could see myself voting for them.
