this is from the QC i mentioned earlier:
Jessica Simor QC Tomorrow, when MPs vote on the Withdrawal Agreement alone, they are in fact also voting for the political declaration. That is because Article 184 of the Withdrawal Agreement, in line with Article 50 TEU, incorporates it by reference. if you want to read all her legal jargon & her text; it's all there on her twitter feed |

Nah they have all served their masters well
Just May is totally useless when it comes to relaying their message |
|
By:
May couldn't convince a collection of dim and cynical opportunists to vote for a deal, the same group that when given the chance to vote for anything they like, they still can't even agree.
Blair helped destabilise the middle east which has led to the death of 100,000s, his legacy still rumbles on with tremors that have caused deaths here, across Europe, and further and huge ongoing misery there. Yes May is worse.. |

(I was being sarcastic). Oh and Blair also threw the doors WIDE open for uncontrolled immigration which helped cause Brexit in the first place.
|
|
By:
Blair was smart though
May is just plain thick |
|
By:
Could you see May convincing them to vote for going into middle east like Blair did?
She can't even get a silly guideline through |
|
By:
most of them are just puppets for the ruling class and the square mile and the banks, media barons etc who tell them all what to do
|

she's far more capable of answering thaT than me, SS. I would however be very surprised if this vote was not met with 1 or 2 legal challenges tomorrow

I cannot have Blair at Number 2 Absolutely Shocking to See that ..
He is fooking 10 divisions ahead of anyone in the worst Category ,the Man has caused as many problems to this world as Hitler did . |

As a side point to Bliar, I don't know how Campbell has the front to be anywhere near a studio, he's as toxic as Bliar is.

Everyone makes fun of her but he's done her job perfectly well. It is sad that the public isn't smart enough to realize that.

if may gets her vote passed she will be hailed a hero....less than 3/1 funny old world shes terrible, dunno if its just too much for her or if she was really rubbish as home sec too maybe we need look back in 5 years or so. shes hopeless at debating, eithing hurling abuse or repeating the same old script but that wouldnt make her a bad prime minister if she got things right. shes lost a good few court cases, with her wicked policies causing harm to poor disabled and various other minority groups. wilson, heath, callaghan, thatcher, major, blair brown and cameron havnt really set the world alight before her, shes just a continuation of a system that produces petty dictators, who have to be sort of twisty to get into the job in the first place. hey ho....nothing much will change for a while..we are too adversarial in our system so there is little continuity in policy and short termism to gain re election abounds who's next? |

Yes. As hard as Brexit was always going to be, May has made it even worse.
History won't remember much of the how and why anyway though and just will remember the absolute mess May made of it. The comparison will be Chamberlain who also faced exceptionally difficult circumstances, but he will get slightly more sympathy as his situation will be seen as even more difficult, and his main policy that's remembered for his failure, ie. appeasement at the time was popular and supported by the majority of the country. May has never even had a real plan and has shown continual dreadful leadership. |
|
By:
The other thing is most other leaders who failed by the end of their tenureship at least realised their main policy they'd dug their sword on had failed, May still hasn't realised that yet.
|
|
By:
Blame the people who put May in charge in the first place, she never had any leadership qualities from the beginning.
|
|
By:
that's why they'd better get this one right as trade deals follow.
|
|
By:
She won't get a deal through anytime soon for trade deals to be following anytime soon.
Also next PM will be totally hamstrung by May's work and parliament anyway. |
