If you are a LGBT and born to a muslim family in a Western country they definitely wouldn't agree! You'd be persecuted and then if you didn't repent disowned by most Muslim families.

That's a leap from not wanting kids to be taught that Adam and Steve is the same as Adam and Eve! The NHS website advises gay men to have a checkup every 6 months. Gay practices are therefore harmful and I'm not sure it should be encouraged. |

your train of thought is that the existence of gay people leads to polygamy and to beastiality/incent/peadophilia. don't act like it's some small opposition you have here, but an inbuilt bigotry towards it. gay people exist, the sooner kids know about it and aren't hateful about it like their terrible parents may be - the better. pretending they dont doesn't change anything. also, you should probably be going for a STI checkup that often (whoever you are sleeping with) if you are sexually active anyway, especially if casual  @clydebank, you may be right there but I doubt that subset of people is what either of those 2 have in mind. family exclusion is obviously the first level but within general society I still feel like my point stands. to go back to to my point earlier. the likes of Hungary, Poland and Russia (minus Chechnya) probably see themselves as the antithesis to Middle East/Muslim countries values yet they are exactly the ones who are the worst on this point |

I remember something curious you said about marriage some time ago btw., which adds to the boundaries thing. It was something like once gay marriage is allowed, men will soon after being allowed to marry the animals they have sex with and stuff. Anything goes and stuff.
I thought it was pretty good to know at the time that you view marriage as a bond between a man and his sex object. Not that it's too uncommon for your generation. |

Either way, as is well established, God loves all his children. God created same sex love for a reason. A reason that might be unbeknown to us mere mortals, but a reason nonetheless. As evidenced by nation states and churches alike moving towards embracing gay rights and gay marriage, it is evidently and obviously The Lord's will that dinosaurs stop marginalising that group of God's children if you are open to actually look at God's message instead of insisting on keeping your human-fueled and human-created hatred and animosity.

While I am sometimes a bit harsh with my words, there's actually nothing fundamentally wrong with being Christian, Muslim etc. even in the 21st century. Certainly not as long as people like Injera or those that this thread is about hold up books with fairytales and legends to justify, to their own conscience and their surroundings, being a really awful human towards fellow, completely innocent children of God.
