And this subject (the Tom Watson one about gambling) was apparently what the thread was about. rather than a "subject 'brought up' within an unrelated thread.

You're running with a story which you seem to me to be misinterpreting and have turned it into "I want to be able to bet on anything".
and LOADS of completely unnecessary mentions of Corbyn and other unrelated stuff.
You do this a lot, pretty much every day, and don't like any opposing or dissenting opinion.
