Going back to my original posting in this thread, the comments tweeted below WYP’s original Tweet show that the general public hasn’t been fooled by this laughable “Award”.  They see it for what it is, a public humiliation and a Badge of Shame.

I must admit, I felt so bad for the Telford and Rochdale police divisions this morning that I posted their Chief Constables some cards of condolence, given their own particular staggering efforts in this particular field. 

They (and in fairness umpteen other police divisions) must be spitting feathers at the judges verdict. They will surely feel cheated and doubtless will consider an official objection to the winners.

It sounds like they got mugged off, the award company are just after selling tickets for the ceremony, very dubious 

Not only do they not get it re their failure and compliance in the grooming gangs BUT.....

They're accepting a diversity award from people who despise diversity!
