In truth it's more a sick joke, but no-one's laughing. Least of all the victims of Industrial Scale Sex Crime living in this particular Policing region.
You see, WEST YORKSHIRE POLICE have won an award. Not just any old award either. And they are inexplicably rather proud of it. They should actually be hanging their heads in shame.
Given the identity of the body that awarded this prize, one is sorely tempted to think it is a deliberate p*$$-take.
