Jussie Smollett has been ordered to pay $130,000 (£99,000) to cover the cost of the investigation into an alleged assault on him in January in Chicago.
The actor became the subject of the investigation after he was accused of staging the attack on himself. Smollett has always said he is an innocent victim - the charges against him were dropped earlier this week. But he has now been ordered to cover the costs of police officers, including overtime hours used on the case. CBS journalist Charlie De Mar shared a letter from the city of Chicago to Jussie Smollett, demanding he pay $130,106.15 in the next seven days. |

Many seem to be unaware of the fact that a grand jury forwarded the charges against Smollett, not the Chicago Police Department.
The Obama connections responsible for injudicious meddling in this case have therefore made an error of monumental proportions. This will return to haunt them for sure. |

I think I heard that if he doesn`t pay, Chicago police can bring a civil case, which would involve all sorts of legal disclosures and evidence about the case being publicly disclosed; he really won`t want that! Yet his only alternative is to pay, bringing with it the admission of guilt. But there`s no point paying and admitting guilt, as what would he then be able to claim when the Feds get him in court for Mail crimes? That `obama was behind it, and Michelle promised me she`d get me off!`?

The Nigerians now suing Smollet`s lawyers! Statement says, in effect, `we`re in full agreement with the Chicago police, Smollet planned it all, enlisted our help, then sold us, his friends, down the river in his ludicrous attempts at denying it all, after being caught rotten`.

Foxx ordered all documents be `sealed`, meaning nobody could ever see them again, and she and smollet would get away with it. A Judge has just most unusually, `unsealed` them; she`s off to jail, bringing michelle with her!
