I was the same age during the first Gulf War as she was when she left for ISIS. At that age I would have known what it would have meant had I shipped off to support the Iraqis. If someone from a foreign country came over here and committed crimes would you want them sent back to their country? As far as i am aware Syria did not welcome this girl in. I'm not sure it's their responsibility to keep her. Whilst I couldn't care less about her rights I do think we have an obligation to take a British citizen back. That would mean her standing trial for the crimes committed and hopefully doing a long prison stretch.. That should be made clear to her by anyone in contact with her and then if she still gets herself caught she goes to prison and serves her time here. It's not ideal but we deport thousands of non UK citizens every year who have committed crimes so we unfortunately have an obligation to take her back.

When school girls aged 15 joined any terrorist group overseas to fight or otherwise they must be sufficiently matured and politically informed (rightly or wrongly) or influenced/indoctrinated by people they were in constant contact with either thro' social media or in-person. And no one would make a decision to leave their love ones behind lightly, I think, without giving some serious thoughts prior.
