Anything going into ireland has to come by ferry or Aeroplane , at the point of departure anything destined for southern ireland - mark it with an invisible pen that shows up under ultra violet light, you might have a load of illumiinous sheep or pigs at night but who cares  , if it is found in northern ireland ,tax em and  do em , problem solved

What if the sheep is found in Wales ? Most body fluids show up under ultra violet light so there could be some confusion Blush

The problem is everything that comes into N.Ireland has to through customs at some point

May would like this done between N.Ireland and the rest of the UK.

But DUP insist it is done on the border between the two Irelands, DUP see themselves as part of the UK, as

indeed N.Ireland is. They will not accept anything that threatens this.

thought part of the argument was about return to the troubles, whether its invisible or not is not the problem, only the fact that the border isconsidered as different if only in text, theory etc,=could be consideredas a reason, excuse for those who may be that way inclined to consider it a border and target it

I suppose I see that 1st time poster....not sure DP will

I remember the troubles, but that was because of discrimination against Catholics in the North, which we

stopped.

I would thought EU's own rules would insist evrything is checked at the border?

I was there at the time for a while.

One would have thought The Battle of The Boyne and the Apprentice boys shutting the gates of Derry had happened

last week, not 300 years ago.

No Surrender.

If they would learn to respect the democratic vote that would be a good start ( the loyalists are ok )

There is no border between Ireland north or south and the U.K.
they have the full and automatic rights of British citizens
So they are not an independent country and never were , sorry

They are not a friend to Britain and we can see that with even the most recent events

That’s just one reason why there should be no freedom of movement and no automatic right to live and work in Britain for Irish people

Will ya listen to lfc on the pub stool castigating Ireland for not being best buds with Britain.

Britain took over Ireland by force.
Britain committed genocide with the loss and flight of millions in the great famine.
Britain did it's utmost to stifle education and Irish heritage amonst the indigneous.

You should be down on your hands and knees lfc begging the Irish to forgive you.

I’m not worried about that sorry  , if that’s their attitude fine
Just more reason to remove the automatic right of living and working in Britain
Until their attitude improves

Pa lapsy - I suggest you do what most people are doing and block LFC.

He’s been exposed time and again for being a complete lunatic who doesn’t actually believe what he’s saying, he just enjoys the attention - hence why he comes out with the bile he does.

As well as being xenophobic, he’s also extremely stupid.

By:

LFC wouldn’t dare come out with the stuff he types in public - someone would knock him out.

The fact is he’s such a coward the only enjoyment he gets in his pathetic life comes from throwing lies and xenophobia on here.

Tragic really.
