A 14-year-old boy has been stabbed to death by attackers who knocked him off a moped, in what police believe was a targeted attack.
The boy, named locally as Jayden Moody, was found in Bickley Road,Waltham Forest, at 18:30 GMT on Tuesday. The death penalty does not seem to deter murder in the United States unless it would be even worse without it  ..I would have thought spending the rest of one's life in prison is only marginally better than the death penalty? |

What do you want injera the army shooting people in the streets? We cannot use the Army on our own people unless there is a rebellion. We only used them in the N.Ireland because of the IRA...a terrorist organisation. If young men fight and kill each other with knives, that is in their nature. Young men used to fight with fists, and the odd chain, etc.... I wish we could go back to that. |

I have grave suspicions surrounding the 'lad'...what on earth was he doing riding a moped;obviously a troublemaker of sorts...is it known what colour he is/was and also the race of the people in the car....
To rid the streets of the vermin the first action is to want to do it and accept that there's likely to be collateral damage.Then arm the police and utilising the army go through the neighbourhoods street by street ,building by building and not worry too much if the scum are shot dead rather than arrested. Ignore the liberals,the Labour party and the do gooders and get on with it. |

I think the polis generally just let them get on with it - a bit too dangerous for your ordinary copper - only those well equipped have a chance and little khan and tonto cressie have no political interest in doing anything - votes from their supporters are more important.
Then again the orders come from on high and most of plod have to follow them. You don't thing they are free agents to just apply the law do you? It's mainly politics |
