Our society itself is much more competitive than it ever has been...
Bringing in people of different cultures has clearly affected us... The credit crunch did not help us, the people responsible the banks, totally unpunished. Government say we must be more competitive but that means we are a much crueler society. People at the bottom are not helped as much as they used to be People stay in their own worlds more than ever before, because of modern media. We become estranged from one another as never before The changing role of women is affecting us, they now compete with men, rather than calming men down like they used to. This adds to the competitiveness and cruelty of society A lot of things. I don't know which are the most significant. If you send in the army against the black community you are effectively making them an enemy of this country I would not advise this myself... More police...if necessary more money from government for this. Although too much targeting of black community will alienate them. I have raised more questions than answers...oh well |

Being an oldie I remember the 60/70's.
We were a kinder society, although sadly lot of strikes, too many and our industry became uncompetitive. From the 80'som we changed, but their is a price to pay, always somebody has to pay it. |

My take on this after watching silly amounts of gang documentaries last year was that they need the wall to keep out the massive influx of gang types from Central America that get in through Mexico bringing the violence/drug/gang/civil war lifestyle with them and they are very good at what they do.
They massively outnumber Black Gangs in LA and nothing can be done so far to stop them spreading,the Mexico pay for wall and Trump thing is a smokescreen as America doesn't want the world to see that they've lost control of their country. We never hear about this issue only how bad Trump is or a Black person has been shot by a policeman etc. when the Hispanic gang issue is their number 1 issue,only my opinion of course but got the same impression over and over again. |
