I’ve no idea.
I’m recording it. I think it my be a bit depressing. |
By:
I watched it in the new cinema in Lordship Lane when it first came out. Me and my partner both unashamedly sobbed towards the last hour. It's an absolutely heartbreaking film
Would I recommend it? Well yes I would but I won't be watching it again tonight, I'm not really in the mood to ever to see it again actually personally. Have the tissues at the ready as it is a desperately sad film. |
By:
I will record it slippy.

Great documentary type film 9/10
By:
I would score it a 9/10 job as well RLKP but it is not a film I would care to watch again personally, far too upsetting.
By:
I might give it a miss.
By:
Im watching, so far it seems like a political broadcast.
By:
I will definitely give it a miss then.
By:
My partner has just sent me this message" I'm watching it hun. It will make me cry again!! x x x"

No MD, you should watch all films that score above 6.
It may get better and change direction. |
By:
great film
heart-wrenching as **** tho ![]() |
By:
I’ll keep it on my recorder box then.
By:
It is the worst kind of absolute drivel. God awful, depressing crap.
By:
I'd give it 0/10. It's that bad.
By:
Rotten Tomatoes gives it 92% a massive score.
By:
It's like a cross between Eastenders and a party political broadcast from Labour. BBC's idea of a great film for the festive season no doubt. It's absolutely dire.
By:
Rotten Tomatoes giving this crap the same score as The Shawshank Redemption reflects quite badly on RT's scoring system I would suggest!
By:
Or maybe you're just not much of a judge.
By:
This two bob peasant Torquemada scores this film 0% Rotten Tomatoes gave it 92%, I gave it 90% ![]() ![]() |

Not worth a tanner , is one currency insult used around , my neck of the woods .
By:
My apologies Torqhemada, that was a bit uncouth of me! I just found this film to be compelling but you need to have compassion to actually "get it". You scoring it 0% obviously rattled my cage somewhat!
By:
You're a gentleman and a scholar Slippy. Sorry for having a pop.

By:

It`s a very good film. I once knew a guy like Daniel Blake. Hard working, proud man who ended up out of work through no fault of his own during the Thatcher era and couldn`t get a another job because of his age and ill health. He hated going to sign on.
Threw himself in front of a train. Very good film and sad reflection on today`s society. |
By:
I’m just starting to watch it.
By:
That's desperately sad themightymac
What stuck in my mind was that the civil servants for DWP expected him to be completely computer savvy when he could only just about know how to send a text message on his phone, so heartbreaking. |
By:
I'll be intersted to know what you thought of it Makybe_Diva.
