go out side if it is a clear sky.
1=look at the moon
2=thinking of a clock face on the moon look right at 3 on the clock you will see Venus(big bright star you can not miss it)
3=go to 7 on the clock just before the sun rises .you will see MERCURY.
4=still looking at 7 on the clock below Mercury ,you will see a tiny dot star ,this is Jupiter
5=then you will see the sun coming up.
6 for a few seconds you can view the moon, venus, mercury, jupiter and a tiny glimps of the sun all together,
7=and it happens up to the 21st december.

NIGHT Sky Report.
Time:6.05am
Location:LIVERPOOL

No sight of moon but
excited to witness with
my binoculars,a very bright
object set low in the sky.
The object was the brightest
thing in the sky.
Report Culvin December 17, 2018 6:24 AM GMT
I'll ask my Astronomy Professor
the esteemed B Neck, If what I
witnessed at 6.05 was indeed
the planet Venus.Please tell me
it was because,if so,i will look upon
this sighting as very much a portent.

I'd like to thank you brassneck for rekindling  my interest in watching the night sky.I had a telescope as a boy and I remember very well the excitement I experienced when I first saw the moon and other celestial objects up close.
I'll be up at 5.20am and looking at 5.30am

That's quite true ufcdan, quite true ,but to see the moon, sir when it's size has been increased by 50  or whatever the telescopic power was, that's an amazing thing to see.
It looked miraculous,
and ever since seen,
i've been trying to
pitch my own,pennies
to My Moon
