Time:6.05am Location:LIVERPOOL No sight of moon but excited to witness with my binoculars,a very bright object set low in the sky. The object was the brightest thing in the sky. |

I'd like to thank you brassneck for rekindling my interest in watching the night sky.I had a telescope as a boy and I remember very well the excitement I experienced when I first saw the moon and other celestial objects up close.

That's quite true ufcdan,quite true ,but to see the moon,sir when it's size has been increased by 50 or whatever the telescopic power was,that's an amazing thing to see.

lockup,you can't miss seeing Venus if you're looking for it at around 6am ,it will be the brightest object you see in the sky. I'll be getting up at around 6 myself to take another look.
