tbf I think 16th-18th century scientists have been adequately acknowledged by banknotes over the years. Noor Inayat Khan would be a much better than choice for the £50, as a more up to date hero IMO |

After reading the article and what has actually been said, I think any issue should be with the CNN author rather than the actors.
At no point have the actors 'demanded' anything. Aggressive spin/headline to cause division, try not fall for it next time. |

The person they want to put on the Bank note is a Lady called Mary Seacole. She is a good candidate to be on the Bank note not because she was black but because she was an amazing person and dedicated herself to the care of British Soldiers who worshipped her.

The point is poster maybe people should have heard of her! She was adored by the soldiers. They arranged concerts and collections to bail her out of bankruptcy twice!
