The person they want to put on the Bank note is a Lady called Mary Seacole. She is a good candidate to be on the Bank note not because she was black but because she was an amazing person and dedicated herself to the care of British Soldiers who worshipped her.

Don't get me STARTED on big value bank notes. This has happened to me more than once abroad.

I go to bank machine. I am charged per transaction so I ask for a fairly big amount (like 150-200 quid worth) to last me a few days.

Machine spits out say 4 HUGE (in local currency) value bank notes, that nobody will then want to break or accept, or if they do, VERY grudgingly.

Last time this happened nobody wanted to take them, I ended up paying hotel bill in cash instead of card to get rid of the ****ers.
