Wd, Jack.

That was the answer I was looking for although some of the titles (eg Likely Lads, The Sweeney) are not mentioned in the context of TV programmes.

If there are any Squeeze aficionados reading, yes, 'Dallas' is from 'Hope Fell Down' by Difford and Tilbrook.

Not Kenneth Cope.

To clarify, the actor in question is well known. I just thought the piece of trivia about his TV debut might not be.

By:
i_agree_with_nick
When: 19 Dec 18 13:55

Macca doesn't count as one of the six.

Someone I know met John Conteh back in the 70s. He said he was a nice chap.

What was the name of Canada's first Christian rock band?
By:
McCoy Carp
When: 23 Dec 18 15:25
The only 4 I know off the top of my head are, Stryper, Barren Cross, Shout (don't think it would be them as singer Ken Tamplin cousin of Sammy Hagar) and Degarmo and Key. Stryper are probably most famous Christian rock band, never heard any Barren Cross but Shout's It Won't Be Long and follow up In Your Face are fantastic, out of this World, hair metal albums regardless of the Christian overtones.

Artist: Shout
Album: It Won't Be Long
Song: Timeless Love

That's 4 Christian rock bands I know off the top of my head - don't know whether they are Canadian or not but don't think Shout is as singer cousin of Sammy Hagar. Hope that's cleared that up - lol.
