Going back a good few years since the forum was moderated, later it was moderated by external mods (resulting in a free-for-fall on here), then full moderation was performed externally with a "reporting" system. The mod work has been further reduced (imagine reading every post/thread that is reported!), now if a post/thread is reported it is computer scanned for certain words. Hence the OP's thread being pulled ip.

I'm pretty sure I know who reported one of my posts which got me a nine month ban for making a humourus comment on a female fashion garment much admired by middle eastern males who live in a 2000 year old time warp. The problem is the takeover of institutions by those with an agenda to relegate indiginous, heterosexual men and women to the bottom of the pile.

I posted this on another fred..'The forum has certainly been put in a 'Straight jacket' with the report button and the weak small people who use it.
I can't recall if SH and myself have ever agreed on anything, we have had some ding dong exchanges, and he has not once reached for the report button, and he had good reasons to on several occasions. A good egg who prefers to humorously debate when making a point. |

There are various trolls and ex-banned people reporting posts, because the report button is open to all readers.
I think that removing this ridiculous, pointless feature would help this forum. Although that wouldn't stop the clowns on here who do it too. boxingthfox and I have had words, but we'd never stoop to these toerag's levels. |
