Yes , you had to make sure your jumper or blazer protected you from the wrist upwards.....they still all seemed to aim for the fleshy part at the base of your thumb though........that's where it really hurt with a direct hit!!

I've had loads of posts removed over the last couple of years.
I've also written several emails like yours S_H, mostly the replies, if I get any, show a total lack of interest, and near impossible levels of incomprehension. At least 5 have been removed today!!! There are some very sad, pathetic, people thinking they're achieving something with the reporting and TSEG is spectacularly useless and nearly as spectacularly unreasonable. Eventually there will be no forum, and the tw@ts doing the reporting will claim (to themselves) it's what they were after. The rest of us won't miss it. |

The business contact, who introduced me to this crazy business, was not only denied his rights to post on the forum, but had his account closed!
All he did was to answer a question, that was posted on a particular forum, by answering yes, and showing the mechanics to achieve it, but then qualified by saying "don't do it as you will not be very popular" (not the exact words probably, but on the lines thereof)! |

I did ask for one of my horse racing threads to be deleted as it was being used for infantile bickerings and personal insults and not what it was set-up to do originally ie share and exchange horse racing info/opinions.
I do not concur with TSE's decision to warn original poster about his thread as there is absolutely nothing untoward or homophobic about it; it certainly was neither divisive nor judgemental. |

I wouldn't be surprised if one or two of the mods allow their own bias to take over and delve into some threads.
When trying to get pics passed I often have to resubmit before getting them accepted (Mainly political lampooning ones) |

I really don't think the forum is actively moderated. My guess is that certain words are automatically checked for which trigger some flag. If someone then complains it escalates somehow. I've never reported anyone and as far as I know no one has ever reported me although brassneck has said he has several times (I've never had a warning about it). I've certainly been abusive to people, in particular to Dr C and tm and they have been abusive to me. I stand by what I said to them and they no doubt stand by what they said to me. It's a forum ffs so let's all just get on with it.
