Police say they are responding to reports of a mass shooting at bar in Thousand Oaks, California.
Multiple people have been injured at the Borderline Bar and Grill, but it is not yet clear if there are fatalities. Footage broadcast on local media showed people being carried away from the scene, apparently with gunshot injuries. Police have asked people to stay away from the area as they respond. The bar was hosting a college country music night on Wednesday, according to its website. |

My Daughter and family only back yesterday from America , couldn't say this in front of her but I'm always worried when they go over, usually 5/6 times a year they love the place. The suspect has been described as a Middle Eastern man in his early 20s wearing all black clothing and with a beard.

At least 11 people have been shot after a gunman opened fire inside a country-and-western bar in Thousand Oaks, California.
Authorities said the suspect has been shot dead. A sheriff's deputy was among the victims taken to hospital, police confirmed. The extent of the victims' injuries are currently unknown after the shooting at the student-filled Borderline bar and grill. Initial reports indicated that a man had opened fire with a semi-automatic gun at about 11.20pm. Officers said at least 30 shots had been fired and that victims would be at multiple locations as they fled. |

Sad as it is,...is anyone surprise though unless Americans take a grip and accept these tragic events will repeat themselves regularly, period. But the gun lobby is extremely powerful in the corridors of power,...self-interests of a few overrides the safety and well-being of the majority, unfortunately.

The 19-year-old Afghan, identified only as Jawed S, lives in Germany but allegedly travelled to the Netherlands and carried out the attack on Friday. . Doesn't sound very Middle Eastern, does it? So how did Sky & MSN run with, "The suspect has been described by witnesses as a Middle Eastern man in his early 20s with a beard, wearing all black with a hood and his face partly covered." Someone needs to be sacked for spreading fake news, imo  |

No idea 22 - I didn't see or read one report (other than the 1 you provided) that he was Arabic, only that he was a big guy wiht a beard, all in black and had mask on face. For future ref if they don't shout Alah-ur-akbah have no id and shoot themselves then they aint isis etc. Maybe i should send that to sky!
