All of Chit Chat would vote for you Mo, so that's six or seven votes in the bag!

Seriously though who on the left would have a chance against Trump? I've read that Hillary might run again. She's would have no chance of winning. Joe Biden has been mentioned. He would have no chance either. Bernie Sanders? Maybe get the sympathy vote as Clinton cheated him last time.

Yes, strange as it sounds, I think somebody like Tom Hanks would have a very good chance.

Clint Eastwood would have won at a canter a few years ago if he decided to run. Too old now of course.

biden would make it an interesting race.Bloomberg just changed from independent to democrat has the money but who knows in this crazy political climate.many dems not happy with WEarren coming out with that chief sitting bull DNA bollox  a few weeks out from the midterms.

Oprah Winfrey is a stone cold certainty and she will be the next President.

You would have to question either the brain capacity of people like Warren. Who in their right f**king mind rises to bait like Trump calling her Pocahontas.

If she represented you, you would surely have to ask has she anything better to be doing than making a cringe video about her being 1/1024th Indian ffs

The democrats are genuinely nuts and they may just find a way to lose to Trump again.

there are lots of candidates dipping their toe into the water and
finding it too hot, or too cold.

plenty of big hitters in the wings, for both sides

a decent democrat emerging too soon could well see trumpy being
ditched by republicans, which would be a disaster for democrats...
By:

That's complete nonsense Donny and you know it. Have you learnt nothing at all from the last three years of Trump proving people wrong?

Who are these big hitters waiting in the wings on both sides?
By:
donny osmond
When: 17 Oct 18 13:36
its not nonsense

the democratic campaign will be to get the vote out by citing 4 more years of trump

no trump and they may well have wrong candidate ...

they can not just run on an anti Trump message. They need a proper message.Do not think Oprah will run as i do not think she could handle a full on day to day campaign grind. But you never know

The Kavanaugh hearings put paid to Harris and Spartacus as credible challengers.

I agree with you Nellie, but Oprah Winfrey or a famous lefty actor would have a better chance at beating Trump than most of the Dirty Dem politicians.
By:

The Dirty Dem's frontrunner is Elizabeth Warren and she's just made a monumental fool of herself with that Native American claim. Right before mid term elections! LaughLaughLaugh

If Bernie Sanders was 10 years younger he would probably stand a good chance after being cheated by Hillary. But he's just too old now IMO.

I'm preying Hillary runs again. Please let that happen! She is utterly shameless so it is still on the cards.

Just watched Harris at the Kavanaugh hearing. She wasn't brilliant but no real harm done.
She's racially mixed,not stupid,about the right age (in normal times ),a liberal but not a neo-socialist like Sanders,and she's a woman obviously.

Maybe someone we don't know about yet. Someone establishment will get crushed and there's only so much anti Trump sentiment you can work with.

Warren falling right into his trap was incredibly dumb and will work against her should she run.
By:

Warren is slightly younger than Trump but she'll be 71 by the election. I think the Democrats will look for someone younger and Warren may be in trouble as she seems to have claimed to be in a minority ethnic group to advance her academic career.

I expect Biden to run and win the nomination with the endorsement and support of Obama. He picks Kamala Harris as his vice and he wins in 2020. He serves one term and then stands down to allow Harris to run in 2024.
By:

In my view nominating Joe Biden as your presidential candidate would be tantamount to a concession.
By:

When: 17 Oct 18 18:51
For my money the democrats would be wise to nominate a young, white guy as their candidate; one who has proven appeal across many demographics. Mitchell Landrieu would be my choice.
By:

Landrieu has already said he is not running and indicated in interviews that he would support Biden.

I have more chance of being elected than Harris and Booker ffs

Harris is Hillary V2

before they even think of candidates running Democrats need to find out what way the party wants to go.they are split between the socialist side of the party and the centrist establishment side.either way they have to bring the other side along with them.Clinton could not get Bernie supporters behind her and the same thing could happen again.its ok in midterms running different candidates but you can not do that in the general.

Democrat Senator political advert prints the names of 100s of sexual assault victims without asking their permission first!

I'm not a politician or spin doctor but I think you'd have to be a lobotomised rat to not realise that's crass, offensive, ignorant, and "bang out of order". How stupid was that?

With a bit of luck she'll be sued in a huge class action.

good look getting progressives to come out for someone like that and scorching some of the young vote on that one.

if you're a conservative and want to vote for one, why not vote for the real one and not the watered down one.

staring down the GOP on health care has to be the start for any Dem running.
