Just watched Harris at the Kavanaugh hearing. She wasn't brilliant but no real harm done.
She's racially mixed,not stupid,about the right age (in normal times ),a liberal but not a neo-socialist like Sanders,and she's a woman obviously.

Maybe someone we don't know about yet. Someone establishment will get crushed and there's only so much anti Trump sentiment you can work with.

Warren falling right into his trap was incredibly dumb and will work against her should she run.

Warren is slightly younger than Trump but she'll be 71 by the election. I think the Democrats will look for someone younger and Warren may be in trouble as she seems to have claimed to be in a minority ethnic group to advance her academic career.

I expect Biden to run and win the nomination with the endorsement and support of Obama. He picks Kamala Harris as his vice and he wins in 2020. He serves one term and then stands down to allow Harris to run in 2024.

In my view nominating Joe Biden as your presidential candidate would be tantamount to a concession.

For my money the democrats would be wise to nominate a young, white guy as their candidate; one who has proven appeal across many demographics. Mitchell Landrieu would be my choice.

Landrieu has already said he is not running and indicated in interviews that he would support Biden.

before they even think of candidates running Democrats need to find out what way the party wants to go.they are split between the socialist side of the party and the centrist establishment side.either way they have to bring the other side along with them.Clinton could not get Bernie supporters behind her and the same thing could happen again.its ok in midterms running different candidates but you can not do that in the general.
