NOBODY CAN CHANGE SEX....
It is up the Medical profession who know this to speak out instead of keeping quiet. If you take a man or woman of equal sporting ability on average, the man will be stronger, have more stamina be more durable and have more aggression, this gives them a big advantage in sport, which includes cycling. Women have to bear children. EVOLUTION made us this way, we cannot change it, sorry. Equestrian men and women are reasonably equal because the HORSE does most of the work. Because we have made the world easier with our science women can do more than they ever did before and have been liberated from ever lasting childbirth as most children survive to adulthood, something they did not in the past. But MEN are still MEN and WOMEN are still WOMEN. I feel we need to remind ourselves of that. |

I dont get it, you are born a man or a woman. Thats it.
Apart from a few cases with both genetalia, the parents have to decide if they raise them as boy or girl and operations etc. Fair enough if in later life they decide they are the opposite sex then ok fair enough. An apple is an apple, even if you take the core out, paint it orange and put it in a bowl marked oranges. |

I understand that archery is a sport where it makes no difference as to whether the participant is male, female or even seated in a wheelchair.

maybe testosterone linked ... men generally will always strive to achieve and get better at just about everything if they are able to, whereas women generally aren't as bothered or couldn't care less (hence the reason women don't engage in sports as much as men ) although times are changing and that could be due to decreasing testosterone in males

I think the women who finished second in that cycling event, must feel cheated..
After all she was the best women in the race....she has been beaten by a man. I notice the BBC using the word gender fluid in some of their program titles...I don't watch them So we just decide our own sex now? it has nothing to do with the way we are born???? Outside of the BBC and perhaps some insane asylums I doubt this world exist. I read the synopsis and saw the trailers a young boy identifies as a girl,, wants to be called Maxine or some such Very young to make this decision....although I think it best to start young Would he regret it later, why not just grow up as a gay males, just has to ignore homophobes like me Think this may have been done in the US for real? |

Women are allowed to enter the big snooker and darts events - they're open tournaments not men's specifically.

There are no women in the world's top 100 Chess players. English GM Nigel Short got severe flack when
he said women couldnt play as well as men. ps nigel isnt in the top 100 either. |

I would guess the number of male chess players far outweighs the number of female chess players which might have something to do with it, the best chess players from the largest group (male) will obviously outperform the best performers from the smaller group (female).
If there were an equal amount of male to female players playing chess the lack of females in the top 100 would then be worth mentioning. But it's really predominantly a male pasttime. |

I think that you will find that women compete on equal terms in the sport of HORSERACING and they do particularly well and more than hold there own. In fact, it could be argued that the best NH jockey riding just now is Rachel Blackmore.

I think sport was originally meant for men to allow them to release their violence in a controlled, peaceable way.
Now it is entertainment as well, but it serves a useful purpose for men, instead of having wars we compete at sport.. Although I am not quite sure how well that has succeeded..as we still have wars..oh well  Still it now seems ladies now want to compete physically with each other, so it is not for me to stop them. They need to release aggression as well now, and it good for fitness for both sexes. Trans-gender is a bit of a difficulty, because they have been with men's superior physical abilities and aggression Perhaps we should have trans gender sports, but it is getting all a bit complicated tbh???????????????????  |
