The vid posted yesterday @ 7:42 explains some of the science behind how cancer begins and what chemicals turn off the production, bought some nuts/seeds just adjusting some of the starch and ditching the sugar as nuts have been proven to increase mortality on several diets going to grind them up and put them in porridge.
Agree looks good for his age. |

Not enough money in curing diabetes, they also have to intimate a solution to cancer?
This is either fishing, or you could do with reorganising your belief systems. Crippen, not just that you're wrong about nearly everything, but your susceptibility to any old plop that appears on the internet makes you impossible to reason with. Denzil, seriously mate? you need to ease up on the apparent obsession on diet. This stuff you keep posting and absorbing yourselves with is complete fraudulent nonsense and you're trying to promote it. |

STUDYFORM,
Here's a bit of advice. It's stood the test of time. Keep taking the tablets. Literally. |

Tom Watson - one of STUDYFORM's heroes in the Labour party.
''Labour's Tom Watson 'reversed' type-2 diabetes through diet and exercise'' https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-45495384 Sorry Tom it can't be done, STUDYFORM says so. |

By:
Denzil, seriously mate? you need to ease up on the apparent obsession on diet.
Given the state of the health of most of the population someone of my age and past lifestyle would be silly not to take a strong interest in diet you might be better served by doing the same. |

Not only talking ballocks but "bumping the thread to the top" I believe was the accusation!
You have no idea - Your last post is baseless, written from the perspective of one who is a conspiracy moron, and having another pop at me, including loads of guff you have invented, not read or heard. Not a word of it is worthy of refute it's so preposterous. How can you be so useless at so much??? |

Butter nonsense: the rise of the cholesterol deniers
A group of scientists has been challenging everything we know about cholesterol, saying we should eat fat and stop taking statins. This is not just bad science – it will cost lives, say experts . https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2018/oct/30/butter-nonsense-the-rise-of-the-cholesterol-deniers Link for anyone who may be interested. |

This is not just bad science – it will cost lives, say experts
Worse than that, it could cost the pharmaceuticals money if healthy people stop taking them. |
|

Thanks bigmo just highlights the amount of delibirate disinformation there is out there seems they're all at it in one way or another self interest playing with people's lives.

Another interesting subject I've been researching the last week or so is Autophagy easy to incorporate into your lifestyle was going to put some info onto the fasting thread can't remember if it was touched on there or not.
The second video is interesting as it focuses heavily on longevity and living as healthy as possible for as long as possible which interests me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10jNZleNH9w https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dR1FCJS8DoM |

Two interesting videos from Denzil.
It's amazing how much good you can do yourself health wise if you are prepared to break with the generally accepted Western way of eating three meals a day, while observing a balanced diet. Consensus and misinformation are the enemies of scientific progress. And leads to the current situation in medicine where drug-pushing doctors cure little, and in many cases make matters worse. This situation is unlikely to change, with doctors making very good livings from simply staying in line, and obeying their masters who policies are controlled by the food manufacturers and the pharmaceutical industry. |
|
By:
By the way Denzil, I had the same reaction after trying green tea, took me ages to isolate it.
Something you'd never suspect you'd get a reaction to. |

Heard in the supermarket this week - ''everybody becomes diabetic when they get older.''
People actually believe that. Or it's in their genes as mentioned here. So if your dad ate steak egg and chips three times a day and died of a heart attack, then you'll probably die of a heart attack despite what you eat. Which is like saying, if your dad committed suicide then you're likely to kill yourself as well. |
|
By:
Diagnosed with type 2 yesterday bit of a sickener, told it was hereditary, not really to do with my diet, back tomorrow for further tests, gonna read this thread now.

Bad luck G Hall.
Cases of diagnosed Diabetes are increasing rapidly. Here's an article from 2008 showing an increase of 90% for America in ten years. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2769839/ It's startling figures like these that made me gather as much information about the disease that I could, in order that I could make adjustments to my diet and avoid developing the killer myself. S2 diabetes hereditary? I don't think so. |

Just been to my doctors for an hour talk on Diabetes. Looks like my feeble attempt to loose weight with Slimming World has probably done more harm than good
obviously I can't blame them entirely as I readily admit I eat a lot of sh1t, however I never knew a small jacket potato which I deemed to be fairly healthy on its own turns into 16 cubes of sugar I had four the other night for dinner ! Slimming world will tell you they are a free food and you don't have to measure them ![]() |
|
By:
That's what he told me Dr C I wouldn't have weight issues at all, just extremely thirsty and tired and blurry vision at times, wouldn't get as much sleep as I need though.

My sister in law just goes round the carousel yo yoing all year round despite going to her classes every week, all she's doing is dumping her water and sugar stores then filling them up again that's why there's big losses at the start for everyone.
|
|
By:
People really need to know about nutrition if they're serious about losing weight and staying slim once the weight is off.
Otherwise hey simply put it all back on again. They need to know how the body deals with the three main parts of food, which are carbs, fat and protein. This is also essential if they're diabetic and are going to try and reverse it. |
|
By:
dan trust me mate what Dr C and I have put up on here is the way to go Slimming World type way is designed to have people going round in circles that is how they make their money with repeat subscriptions to an unsustainable way of life.
Spot on Denzil |

S2 diabetes hereditary? I don't think so.
My Mrs would beg to differ. She is the eldest of 6 siblings, all bar the youngest have type 2. Her mother had it and her mother's two sister also. Her maternal grandmother also had it. Needless to say the youngest sibling, aged 52, is awaiting his fate but trying to eat healthily. The 3 female siblings are overweight but the 2 males are a normal weight. |

See if you'll get this removed now.
It'd be no surprise. |

I won't complain about that STUDYFORM.
It's a good reminder to the forum of what a hysterical state you tend to get yourself in. |
|
By:
Swearing and hurling insults during a serious discussion without any provocation speaks for itself.
|
|
By:
I have tried the ridiculous, pointless method of discussing this subject, all over the first few days of this thread.
You are presenting unsubstantiated, potentially dangerous tripe, based on nothing more than a conspiracy about medicines. You are quite wrong (as always) in loads of places. Among the states I'm in is to be a diabetic, and trust me, you are no saviour of diabetics. There is always provocation where you're concerned simply because you don't know very much about anything. You have no magic cure, and people with the condition don't need YOU telling them it's always avoidable. It isn't. Parading reams of quackery all over the forum just shows what a gullible fool you are. And insults people who know far more about diabetes than you do. |
|
By:
If S2 diabetes is hereditary, why are the numbers of sufferers growing rapidly, and why are the ages of the sufferers also coming down?
If it were purely down to hereditary factors wouldn't the numbers remain constant? Cases of type 2 diabetes among young people rise 41% in three years https://www.theguardian.com/society/2018/aug/18/cases-of-type-2-diabetes-among-young-people-rise-41-in-three-years |

Think some may underestimate the learned way of life that the automatically inherit which accounts for many cases imo.

I'm not arguing the point.
YOU ARE WRONG. It's as simple as that. |
|
By:
I didn't say other people can't get it. What I said - CLEARLY
is that diabetes is hereditary and IT IS. |
|
By:
Again, STUDYFORMS post is full of unsubstantiated claims and his own opinions, which are clouded by his extremes of emotion.
There's nothing to be learned from his posts at all. I'd dismiss everything he writes on that basis. |
