Barbara Broccoli, who is in charge of casting 007, told the Guardian: "Bond is male. He's a male character. He was written as a male and I think he'll probably stay as a male.

Well they said that about doctor who as well but it didn't stop them going down that route to destroy a once great show, I've seen that the BBC have also given the show a 4 and a half star rating as well, everyone who's done a review on it in the MSM have called it "great", I mean are they allowed to have a real review on something nowadays?

It never works the other way, does it? Black or gay or female person plays a male character, like a shakespeare white male, it's a victory for "diversity". White guy plays a black character or man plays woman, all hell breaks lose.

Sontaran you are of course correct that the BBC have done that not because it's the best plot line, flows naturally, or any rational reason.

It's entirely for virtue signalling, politically correct, "diversity", and gender politics reasons.
