Okay , fair enough . So what happened ? Money all spent ? I'm sorry if this sounds a little harsh -and I DON'T condone any form of sexual assault/rape- but if she chose not to pursue the alleged offence through the courts then surely she has no recourse now to that option . Indeed , she may have just confessed to an offence of blackmail ! |

There should be a time limit statute on any " victim" coming forward and a woman now stating a decade later she was raped after taking money over what has apparently ruined her life should be treated with the disdain it deserves. It could be argued she should be facing charges as even if believed , she is effectively allowing a potential rapist to get away with it committing more crime just in order to buy the latest handbags. Report at the time or don't report at all.
